Wish we could take credit for that. We are starting some breeding projects now that will hopefully have good results. (dispo has got a male in with a bunch of our other strains to make up some new creations)

Yeah, I would highly disagree with those of you who think CO is full of top breeders, let alone top growers. There's a lot of mj here , but the majority is garbage. That's what happens when these initiatives pass. Mj is relatively easy to grow and pretty profitable. So naturally everybody and their mother tries to grow and then we basically have a bunch of low grade mj floating around in particular at dispensaries. Thats exactly why true smokers will contiunue to buy on the black market. I'm so sick of people advertising their product as "top shelf." If top shelf means underdeveloped, moldy, bad smelling, crispy, no trichome glistening buds that pop and burn black and taste like chemical fertilizers, then we have the best growers in the world here. Yes, there may be a couple quality breeders here, but it amazes me when I see all these supposed strains listed. Anybody can take a cut from any plant, even some schwag bagseed and pass It off as some new great strain they have produced. BS. Exactly why I don't buy clones here and order real genetics from quality breeders.

LoL and with an attitude like that you will never see the fire that the good growers trade amongst themselves. You know, those of us who grow not to sell, but to spread the love of the plant, and enjoy the fact we can do this legally in our great state.
Feel how you want about this, but i assure you there is still those of us pulling down the dankest buds you have ever seen, buds you can not buy at any price, but are gifted among friends willingly and freely.
So keep spending ridiculous $$$ on seeds from "true breeders" and we will keep getting out stuff local, between Colorados amazing breeders, and our ever growing communities.

I know what true connoisseur mj is . And it can be had in CO. I was making a point related to the thread suggesting that not only are top breeders going to flock here, but that we already have top breeders here. I disagree wholeheartedly with both of those notions if you are as lucky as I have been to travel to some of the finest cannabis destinations in the world. CO is nowhere near the top. And like I said, there are some quality breeders here properly creating quality strains, but don't get fooled by the many posers pushing you " this really dank OG bananna double sour purple goo afghani super haze." Quit posing and taking people for a ride,you can't fool those of us who are seasoned.

You might want to offer some specific info or your post isn't much more useful than the posers you refer to.

The world's top breeders probably don't really have a reason to move. They will probably flock in for the cup though.

If you know quality, why get to crying about all the bullshit out there? Yup! Some dispensaries will have hay ride on the shelf, they aren't forcing you to buy it! In fact it's a good sign to never go there again! Breeders and growers are two different classes dude! You are bitching about growers not breeders! Try all reserva privada, DNA, 303 and other Colorado based seed companies genetic lines before coming into our state taking clown shits on information you don't even comprehend! The climate is dry here and if they don't have drying dialed in its gonna suck regardless of appearance IMO, it's up to you to find the real shit, grow it if you are such a connoisseur, but I wouldn't even toss a roach your way with sass like that!
