Worst growing conditions I've ever seen..

After getting my dehumidifier I am on the opposite side of the scale.
I had no idea there was THAT much water in the air.
I mean I pull like a bucket of water in 24 hours from 2 plants. in a room. I even have a bucket full of water to put on my garden plants outside now.

Expensive piece of kit, but money well spent. In hindsight, it is now an absolute necessity in growing indoors.
The joys of being in Belgium, we don't have the extremes of the US, South Africa, etc, regarding snow, heat, humidity, etc. We was lucky with last winter, was very mild and not too cold here at all, all the really bad stuff fell on everyone else, saved me a bit on heating.

Gonna be in the 70's today, sunny, no wind, not even 9am and it's 16°C/60°F already, and today is the worst day for the next week according to forecasts with the temps jumping up a few degrees into the 80's from tomorrow, going to have to get the fans out and set up in the living room because it gets hellish warm in here when the sun is out (airco? Pah! Give me 3 20" fans and I'll take the temperature of a 7m x 5m room down in next to no time).

Even when it feels dry and nice, the dehumidifier is pulling water from the air.
The amount coming out has reduced since it basically pegs it between 45 and 47% if I set it to 45%

It's the old story, ain't it, you're used to the temps and humidity so what you class as "dry" would likely be "high" or "low" for me, it's all relative, ain't it.

Any tips for growing in the snow?
Get a farmer's almanac for your area. Or figure out when the absolute last snow date is for your area.
Start em indoors in smaller pots and keep em that way until they get tossed outside.
Use gas lantern routine for lighting so they don't pop into flower when you stick em outside as apposed to 24/0 or 20/4 or 18/6.

I dropped 500 bucks on my current one. It's a beast. Uses a lot of power but well worth it. It drops rh in the room quick.
Worth the investment for sure. Especially in the long run it's protecting 10s of 1000s of $$$ in dope.
I helped my Uncle set up a grow space and he thought he could get away with not using a dehumidifier.
Nah I don't think I'll need it (didn't need one during 2 cycles during winter)
Dude you're gonna get mold at some point and waste months.
He had a 4x4 space packed to the brim SOG style with clones I gave him.
The particular cuts come out perfect in 65 days after flip.
He had 10 days left and boom. Spotted some mold. Needless to say he got a dehumidifier after that.
Whole crop got chopped and fast dried. The ones that didn't get hit. I'd say a good 40% of those got mold when they were drying here and there.
It made for one hell of a hash run though.

Yeah, that cola rot strikes about day 50, when you don't stay on top of it.
Shit time to lose a harvest.
My unit isn't all that power hungry, only about 300 and something Watts, but it stays on top of the RH in the room like a beast. Can supposedly do 26 liters a day.

No not yet but I figure 2020 .. But if we can get rid of this governor we got now we will be better off
My state is not cool either. Our Governor is an old fart who is strongly against Mj. There's been talks here about if the democrats can win office then cannabis is in. Its just a matter of getting rid of the republican fucktards in my state. I'm not big into politics but i do wish the nonsense over mj would stop.
