Worth adding an Autoflower?

Okay so current stats:
5 gal dwc/bubbleponic
250w hps/mh - don't think i could handle the heat running any larger
2.5'x2' closet - cannot exhaust, my exhausting method is simply 6" clip on fans circulating and blowing out the closet door that is always left open

Currently have a seedling that sprouted like a week ago, will begin flower in about 2 weeks. For my next grow i want to go to a 10gal res and run two plants. My question is would it make sense to start the 10 gal res now and put an autoflower seed in next to it. The autoflower will only get 12/12 light basically it's whole life. I don't know if the autoflower would just get in the way or not though and would only yeild what it took away from the other plant. Thoughts?

PS: My focus is yielding more and I'm never going to use the autoflower seed anyway so it won't be a loss.

Auto flower are great is you like growing new plants everytime from seed. I don't use autos because I like to know my genetics through and through, without surprises. With clones, I get a jump on the next grow, as well.

I don't think it'd be worth the effort to flower it from 12/12. Save it, or donate it to someone you like.

Thanks for the response, but yeah i realized too many other problems I would run into as well, such as different feed schedules in one resevoir.

I don't know anything about autoflowers, but aren't you supposed to be able to flower it in any light period? Shouldn't it flower in a 24/0 or 18/6 if it's an 'autoflower'?

If you have room why not? Any freebie autos I get are usually added in veg just as a bumper crop to hold me til harvest. They'll yield less on 12/12 but if you lst a few tops it should be worth it depending on genetics.
