Would BLueberry be a problem for someone who never uses fertilizers?

My grows only involve Miracle Grow potting soil, and I never have problems. And if im correct, BB is considered difficult b/c of it's sensitivity to nutes. So I have 2 questoins. First, is this the only reason BB is condisered difficult? And would it be smart to do a Cfl closet grow for a semi-experienced grower? Or would going with a BB cross like Nirvana's Blue Mystic/ Peakseeds Skunkberry/ Northernberry be a better choice?
