Would this light work?

This will be my first.time using lights i normally grow autos on my windowsill bit this isn't an option anymore (neighbours just moved in) so yeah im pretty clueless when i comes to lights and im on a very low budget hence why I did windowsill growing in the first place heres what i found could this be used from seed to harvest i will only be growing one plant with this light thanks

That's a pretty expensive light considering it's best used for clones and seedlings.

It's pretty easy to build a cob led, especially with all the solderless options out there. If you don't want to do the math, just follow someone else's build. I agree with @blake9999 that light looks pretty weak. I'm sure it COULD work for one auto, but I personally wouldn't waste my money on it.

If there is absolutely no way you could afford a better led, you may want to just look into getting a 400 watt hid fixture. Maybe if you sell a little of your product you could afford to replace the hid and go to led. But to get the best led light with the most efficiency for the lowest price you may want to look into building one. The citizen chips don't look bad at all for the price. Cree is the most efficient brand. I went with the Vero 29 3500k, it's a good compromise. Plus the Vero can except the widest range of voltages that I've seen out of all the cob's out there. Mean well drivers are super efficient, but they are expensive. They pay for themselves with efficiency, but for a build on a budget there are a lot of options out there. Some of the mean well models are more affordable than the HLG product line, and offer similar efficiency. I lucked out when my cheap Chinese cob light burned out. I got some Vero chips and powered them with the drivers I salvaged. The drivers are only 88% efficient, but it's hard for me to justify replacing those drivers. I'm just going to build a whole new light for flower, and keep the salvaged drivers at low power in my veg tent.

You may have to get a shitty grow light to learn for yourself. But if you're willing to learn from my mistakes, don't waste your money. I essentially just paid 200usd for 4 inefficient 36v 1.2A drivers. I could have built a light, same wattage, that would have shit on that Chinese light for 100usd and it would still be working right now. Plus that Chinese light advertised 400w, but was actually less than 200w.. (36v*2.4A)*2chips=172.8watt. It did work, but not well.. Would have paid for itself 10 fold to just build a quality light.
