Would This Work... Getting O2 to the roots?...

So, I'm pretty sure I understand this right, through photosynthesis the leaves take in C02 and produce o2, and the roots take in o2... Would there be any gain from putting an aquarium bubbler hose and burying it in the middle of the roots when you transplant, so the roots than grow around the bubbler and than just turn it on... Wouldn't this supply the roots with a more than normal o2 supply?... Anyone have thoughts?

I'm on my first mj grow, but have had a decent amount of greenhouse / horticulture experience. An excessive amount of air to the roots will send most plants into shock, such as during transplanting. I could be way off base. Anybody else?

I agree too much of a good thing becomes bad. Plus how would you keep the hose from clogging?
