Would this work?

I was looking at the ''Lighthouse Hydro BlackStar 180w LED Grow Light''
I want my grow to be very discrete and think it's too hard to ventilate the heat out in my situation, so LED seems like the best route.
I will be growing Nirvana Bubbliscious Auto's and was wondering if this light can support the growth of 4 of them.
I grew some out my window this summer, but the sun isn't out everyday in northern Canada so I only finished with about 10g's from each.

My questions are:
1. How much can I expect from these plants growing them with this light?
2. Would I need the UV or HO light? I assume one if for veg, and one for flowering.
3. This light covers a 3x2 space, I think that is plenty for 4 plants, would it be ''overkill'' should I just go with the 135w light?
4. I heard that each plant need about 100w on it, does this apply with LED's as well?

The black star "240w"barely covers two.........so no........need more power or less autos.

Good luck

First, I wouldn't buy a blackstar. They are not known for great grows and they are known for dying soon and requiring work done to them.

LED lights don't spread light well, they are highly directional and thus they tend to grow well only what is directly under them and a few inches to the side of the fixture - think adding 4 - 12 inches to the physical size of the fixture and you have a good idea of the area that will flower. Better quality LEDs (and drivers, etc) are much more efficient so you can get more usable light for each watt that you pay for. I would go for the highest quality fixture(s) which cover the area that I want to grow in. Manufacturers will lie about the grow area and will try to deceive about the wattage (real vs theoretical as many give the capacity of their fixture in theoretical watts). Real watts grow plants and theoretical watts catch growers. The blackstar 180 will absolutely NOT grow good flowers over a 3 x 2 area. It will barely veg over that area.

Take a look at these panels - area51lighting.com and bonsaihero.com Both use high quality components and are efficient AND tell the truth about their fixtures. You'll end up happier with either of these fixtures than you would with a blackstar.

No one can tell you how much you are going to grow...grower skills, different strains, etc vary. As far as watts/plant....as I said the efficiency of LEDs varies greatly. With highly efficient LEDs, you can grow excellent bud with 30- watts/ft2 and with less quality you are looking at needing about 40 - 50+ watts/ft2. How many plants fit in a ft2? That depends on you. Remember watts is also heat so if heat is an issue, efficiency is even more important than just your pocketbook.
