I've never used a pH meter and I've grown in hydro and soil.. My leaves are always healthy and I've been growing over 10 years. I'm curious how often do you water them? What size pots are you using and what nutrients?

So I use RX Green line. All the shit. But I did run out of ph down. After that just used pure Michigan well water.

So could this be an effect of my cheap ass not sqeezin lemons, or buying a $10 bottle of ph down?

And it's my first run with this Hawian Kush. She is sucking water. Little slower than every other day water.

because you've been growing for ten years you have enough experience to amend your soil and mix your nutes so that you don't need it..maybe??
and your lucky enough to have source water that is with inn range not to give you problems...guess??

doesn't mean its not a useful tool

With a proper soil mix it is not needed. As organic matter decays it creates ions that buffer pH.

how an individual amends there soil for ph control is going to be in direct relationship to there source water

what if hes watering with source water that has a ph of 5.5 and your watering with 6.5

hes going to need more dolomite than you yes?

without a PH meter it takes time/trial and error/luck to sort that out

My nuits call for 4.8-5.5. So I guess I've switched to 6.5 (roughly ) about a week before put to bed.
Since I have only couple running, I haven't given the attention of a full room.
Plants are being fed plenty of cal. But the change in ph is creating a situation where just the calcium is locked.
Hence I have a calcium deficiency

maybe you should just do nothing

if your ph was out and now it in range that's maybe your problem and you've already done what it needs

just keep your ph correct and see

Looks PH never seen the light shit under the leaf shit tho. did it to my youngster. that's cool. She'll survive. To much of this and not enough of that..crazzzy. Back off a tad and clean her. Flush and continue on.

Guess most would be happy if girls were praying like this. And I'll probably just do nothing.

"PH induced cal def", haven't heard that one. Not sure if that's what someone said, but I think so.

Tough night, between this and that famous 1981 book "Tetraploid Strains of Cannabis " My heads spinning.
