Anyone sane.

That is.

It seems supplementing with COB is the sameish as the 4 apollos as far as coverage and well... Theyre sitting so yeah.

Might run the 12 12 for my first log or smtn since xanopy = all mothers
Coverage isn't the important part. PPFD/PAR is what's important. That is, Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density or Photosynthetically Active Radiation. Which those lights lack. Serious, non-trolling answer. That is what I'm trying to point out to you, and anyone here will tell you the same thing. Like I said, I'm only trying to help you.

You need at least 600 PPFD for veg and optimally 800-1100 for flower. 700 would be ok. Those lights probably put out about 200 PPFD combined max.

Is that fancy for penetration? Becayse 12 12 canopy is even for the most part.

And i know but really some stuff you say is really off putting

I dont mind i qas bored and i learned what cob circuits are lol

Basically the same as an led ballast a hydro store(lol) might sell but cheaper to assemble yourself right

No, it's "fancy" for intensity of photosynthetic wavelength. It's what plants use for photosynthesis, which those lights lack.

Those 4 35w apollos make a pretty mean veg and are full spec believe it or not

T5 added w reds during flower will be nice maybe run a 12 12 just rmto show you how its done before with just 2 35v apollos and 1 4x2 t5 2 more should be golden

Well,
So led and t5 are worthless you say?
The bulb you are using aren't worthless worthless and neither is the t5 there are a few growers who use t5 but they keep it to a one or two plant minimum and scrog the top out so they have only a few inches deep of canopy. If you are intending on growing a shipload of plants instead under that lighting setup, ok, but that is called SOG and you could simply look up tips on that. What I would do, again, is upgrade your lights and pick the best looking plants and grow out only them. Or keep your light and still only pick one of two plants. The t5 plus the led side lighting will grow plants just fine but your final buds may be a bit fluffy and not dense. If you're just growing personal smoke it doesn't matter then.

What olive is saying is your lights are greatly out dated in today's standards but they will grow plants. So, sine you said power is free for you, I guess it doesn't matter how efficient your lights are.

Full spectrum isn't usually arranged in monochromatic diodes. The T5's probably got more PPFD than those LEDs, but its penetration isn't that great. Unless, like @RM3, you're using like, 900-1000w of fluorescents (T5s), you'll likely need to keep it 2-3 inches from the canopy.

Full spectrum, you want something in daylight white, like 3500k. 3000-4000k (kelvin) is daylight and anything in there will do. RM3 uses his own custom spectrum outside those parameters, but he knows how to work it.

Keep this in mind: if your plants start to stretch really lanky-like, they aren't getting enough light. It'll be natural at first, in 12/12 because they stretch during the off cycle as well, especially as seedlings, but don't allow them to stretch too much. The more length between internodes, the more energy is consumed, the less bud you get.

Right, that's all I'm saying. I'm not trying to be a total cock or anything. I'm just trying to help you get something worthwhile out of 2 months of waiting and working.

You cam veg under the t5 no problem. I would focus on 2 plants and maximize your main cola count. Look into mainline tek. There's a thread on it here somewhere. I wouldn't do 5 plants but that's just me, I have tried doing a bunch of plants under one light and it just doesn't work well. Its a lot of watering and work for sub par yields.
