Hi guys,
having a hard time, as I found someone saying the XP-G3 is a lot more efficient. I can't find this adding up, when I punch it in their tool,
XM-L2 at T5 bin - says 123.9 lumen a watt.
XP-G3 at S3 bin - says 131.6 lumen a watt.
thing I get is the difference at 180 watts "estimate" is 22,302 lumen for XM-L2 vs. 23,688 lumen for XP-G3.. thats really only 1,300 lumen more... I can't comprehend whey some say it's, I think 10-20% more efficient.. that doesn't seem to me??? is it because forward voltage is a little different making less watts out on the XP-G3 side? that would only be 139.68 watts for XM-L2 vs. 136.864 watts for XP-G3. so that doesn't add up...
what is making people say it's that much more efficient??? can someone help me out
I'm typing this as I'm trying to find a replacement for the XM-L2 bars I made, but it looks to me not worth the money or time to upgrade unless I'm seeing it wrong
