Okay so I take it off by cutting the branch or just take all the bud off? Can I cure this bud in glass jar even tho it has nutes in the roots? Any special procedure to taking it off? Is the plant okay than?

I was about to pull the bud off when I noticed some tiny hairs sprouting from the flat sided "dead" bud. At this point any suggestions are welcome.

Cut it off at the break. Pics would help. Don't believe you can put calmag on buds and still smoke them right?

I uploaded some pics of the bud that was touching the LED. The other front tip half is fine, but the other half is flat from touching the LED. I know I shouldn't have let it happen but I literally had no space and thought I couldn't LST in flower. Anyways let me know.

PS- I never added calmag to the bud just the soil.

You can do a little LSTing (bending) in flower, nothing extensive though, and the earlier the better I would think. I do it when the sativa doms get too tall for my SoG. Now super-cropping I would think is more of a no-no.

Hey posting some pictures. I added 3 cfl lights at the bottom facing up. I know its not the most secure as it is just sitting on an empty pot but I needed more light near the bottom. Also does that cola look dead? If so do i just pinch it off and smoke it? Or should i let it stay if theres a possibility it can revive or looks not dead. Let me know. Also thank you for the responses!

I never foiler feed but I'm conerned water would travel up to the leaves and drop water in the outlet. I'm unsure how else to play the cfls. Should I take it out for safety?

Hey Xosh if you have 50+ inches of height why don't you get four 2' or 4' dual T8 fixtures with bulbs and mount them vertically in the cab? I don't think that LED is doing you any good anymore the way it is. If you have the width, you can mount or hang your LED vertically and just rotate the plants every day or two. Hey it's a thought :). Good Luck!

P.S I think your theme song should definitely be "Welcome to the Jungle"! Seen any tigers yet?

So I should just take away the whole bud or cut the dead half? Why can't I smoke it though? Also dang so the led isn't doing anything, how do other get good results with the 240 bs and I can't? I won't be able to buy t5s until a month which will be too long... any thoughts?

how is the led not doing anything if you have buds? what day 12/12 are you on? you're keeping it too close to the plant tops as well. i don't see why you can't smoke that top... i smoke early buds all the time. to cut it all or try and save some is your call. i wouldn't save anything that's damaged though.

I just took of the brown burnt part, I'm going to smoke it now since its not a whole lot. Also I planted seeds feb 1st, vegged for a month and two weeks. So they've been in 12/12 since march 20th give or take a day.

Just tried her dead burnt part and wow very nice. I'm feeling its a mid, medium. Woohoo! I've produced decent quality! Imagine if it was fully cured! Anyways, back to the drawing board... I've raised the led as high as it can possibly go. The plants have stopped growing verticle and started growing a bit puffier. Now as I'm aware, a week before harvest your suppose to only feed water. Others have stated you can nuke them until you harvest and than fill them with tons of water last day. Is this true or should I just follow everyone else and give plain water last week? I'm tempted to buy the tent but I may have to make due with what I have for a while. For the next cycle what would you do different if you had to keep same light setup and space setup?

Maybe veg less or veg using the gas-lighting 12/1 technique which produce bushier plants from my observations. You could run a SCroG or try LSTing them in 3 or 5 gallon containers. Shorter plants will help you run extra flouros if you decide to. Whatever you do don't change your feeding schedule/nutes, cause they look great from here! And when are you planning on harvesting them?

I really wanted the bud to expload but 2 of them will be ready maybe 2 weeks. Thank you for your feedback, glad I'm doing decent on nutes and feedings. There's so many techniques for growing its a bit confusing. I know there's super cropping, lst, scrog, but how does someone find out the best technique with the current sorrounding? I didn't do any techniques because I thought if I let them grow natural they wouldn't bush out to much so I could fit them verticly but I guess it wasn't the right thing. If I had to keep the same cab I think ill veg for a month and only have 1 or 2 strains at same age. I'm curious if I can get results to a hps with my given setup if I used proper techniques.

With LEDs it's all about creating an even canopy of buds -- meaning scrog, sog, lst, or bush training. Vertical is no good unless you're going to keep'em short and SOG them high density style from clone.

Hmmm okay well ill keep these girls going and next cycle ill keep to one technique and one or two strains only. On the plus side, I have way more development and quality this time around compared to my first grow. I guess the saying is true, it usually takes 3 rounds to get good.
