yellow spore-like stuff on buds! halp

wondering about this stuff - when i scrape it with a toothpick it takes to the air like spores/fine powder.
smoked some last night, nothing noticeably different except maybe a little funky tasting. i smoke through a bong, and i've read somewhere that spores will be caught by the water as opposed to a joint where the spores/powders will be fully inhaled.

any info? will baking at 150 kill this stuff? thanks guys

-- almost everything i have found about mouldy weed and how it looks does not pertain to what i'm seeing here. it does seem to be some kind of fungal growth to me though

appreciate the concern, but more information would be helpful... did you smoke one bowl/a few grams/a whole bag? did you smoke this mouldy weed in a blunt/joint or a bong? have you smoked buds with this particular stuff on it? do you have any allergies/sensitivities? etc.

there are many various factors. not looking for a generalisation. there are enough of those to be found

I smoke joints. I did it a few times before I made the connection.
You get like really sick. I will throw out ounce bags if I see the smallest speck of mold not to go through that again.

fair enough, i would take caution if something made me very sick too. i smoke a bong, and something i have read elsewhere suggested that it's the spores you're inhaling that make you sick and that pulling through water significantly reduces the amount of spores you inhale. these are spores we breathe on a daily basis as they are everywhere, so i'm wondering if a little bit over these last few grams will be okay

If it smells funky at all, just skip it.
I know that smell so well now (it becomes part of you as that fungus sets up shop), I could spot a moldy bag blindfolded.

Looks like naturally occuring uranium. Totally safe.

You deserve what you get if you smoke moldy bud. My mother had a lung infection from mold, it wasn't a good time for her. Trouble breathing, fluid in her lungs, coughing up copious amounts of phlegm. They never knew where it came from, she didn't smoke. If someone that doesn't smoke got an infection, how much greater risk are you at by directly introducing it to your lungs? Even with your incorrect assertion that smoking out of a bong is safer. The little bubbles of air that pass through the water still have a large amounts of spores swirling around inside them which never get filtered.

The funniest part is when you google search the OP's image it literally brings up pieces of shit lol.

Some people are just too stupid to pick on. I'd feel bad.
