Well I have 4 White Rhinos that are about 15 Days old and yellowing and majorly stunted. What do I do?

Temp 78-82
Ph: 6.8 Water 6.4 Runoff
Soil: Meijer - Schultz Perlite & Peatmoss
Watering: When soil is BONE dry (about 3-4 days)

Any other information that I can help with let me know... I have tried 3 differnt kinds of soil now, bottles water and tap water. I am clueless to what is wrong and I really want to get things going correctly!

Grow Journal is in my Sig.

I really wish I could figure it out. I have been looking all over for solutions for the past few days, but I have not found anything. Im really stuck too becuase i dont know what it could be. My drainage is fine, I have tried 3 types of soil. Im not giving it any nutes. :(

Pretty sure if your soil has some nutes in it, they are not going to grow. ONe of the soils i had, had nutes in it .06 .06 .06 and they were worse then my rhino...

dam, ive used it before, just with a different strain and it worked fine, I guess afghani must be more sensitive to it

try feeding some nutes. i wouldn't even suggest 1/4 strength at that stage. i've fed my seedlings very little amount of nutes and they were fine. infact, they were doing pretty good. i've tried several different types of soil. the one i'm currently using is african violet mix. despite what others have stated about this soil for mj grow, my plant is doing exceptionally well.

Run-off means, to me, over-watering.

Droopy, yellows leaves are also a sign of over-watering.

With the Roots Organics soil I will water them once a week and feed once a week.

I really doubt its over water. I have only watered them 3 times since I have planted them. Which means about once every 5 days. It has got to be something else.

And I had run off becuase I wanted to test the pH. The first two waters I had no run off.

From the pics they looked over-saturated.

Try a bigger container and less water.

If you haven't added any nutes, try a 1/4 strength feed.

I got 3 23 Watt CFL's in there. I had them about 3-4 inches away, but I moved them about 4-5 this morning to see if heat stress was the case. Im about to check and see if any improvement from that.

I honestly doubt it was heat stress unless you didn't ventilate properly.

What are the temps in there? Above 80 deg F?

If yes, heat-stress is very possible.

I had my T5's, which are more powerful than CFL's, only an inch-or-two from the canopy at that level of maturity. Check my journal to see where they are now.

Only one burned because it grew up over-night and touched the lamp for a few hours before I checked it.

If u have the case closed, i would say its not enough venting, thats wot it looks like to me. they just won't grow at all with poor venting. coz their not getting co2, therfor they wont be able to uptake the h2o or the nutes.

Enigma: At times it has reached 82, but never higher. So I agree its not heat stress.

Easylife: I suppose it could use some CO2, I will make a little co2 generator thing today and see if that helps. But I also have a clone growing in the same case, and it took root and has been growing great.

But the door does stay closes but has one place to take in air at the front fan and one place to blow out air in the back top of the case.
