Yield Question

I have some patients that are looking for organic soil grown products. Specifically they mentioned OMRI certified products.

My experience has been with DWC and Ebb & Flow, so dirt will be a learning curve.

1. I know I have to veg for longer but thats not an issue for me. Is there a difference in time for the flowering cycle?

2. All other things being equal, how much different (lower?) will the yield be for the organic grow. Say I can yield 4 ounces per plant in a hydro grow, how much will I yield in dirt?

I searched for the answer to number two but never received a quantative answer, the threads always digress into flavor or other differences.

I did a lot of searching to find the answer to

Have a look here these guys have quite a few OMRI listed products. Good start to learning.

You don't need to veg longer, 2 to 3 weeks will give you plants that will grow well under a 1000w or 400.
Flowering is the same.

I grew hydro for years than switched to dirt/organic and I get 25 to 35% more than I ever did with hydro and less hassle. I will never ever go back to chemicals. Don't get me started.

Most people just don't get it, growing in dirt/organic is sooo easy and less time consuming. You water every 5 to 7 days, if growing in raised beds.

Less bugs, great flavor, no flushing, no messing with PH every day, no solution changes or topping up, i don't spend money on tons of chem to feed and $$ to flush, I don't miss a fucking thing about it.

Peace

LOL, dont sugar coat it, tell me how you really feel.

I have been looking at the earth juice line of nutes, seems like a pretty simple regimin to follow. I have a lot to read about how to grow in dirt though. Watering frequency, soil choices, etc... trying to stay omri fairly quickly narrows your choices.

Good to know your yield went up. I veg under flourscent and then a 600w hid and flower under 1000w hps. Where I am at plant count is the limiter so I dont want to trade 4 plants that only get half the yield.

I spend far more time growing than being a chemist and that suites me fine. It is very had to mess up. I visit some of my buddies and they are always fighting some fire or leaf curl or root issues bla bla bla. I just grin. One day the guy who taught me to grow hydro asked me what I used on my plants. I said water. He is just starting his new setup like mine. He won't be sorry. Don't get me wrong there are lots of ways to grow I just want to watch them grow not mess with them ever other day.

Now if I could only get the rain to come when I wanted it.

Peace

The entire BioBizz line is certified OMRI 100% organic. It's pretty much all I use, and I think it's the best stuff out there.

Cheers
