I am going to second what @Olive Drab Green said as far as growth and re-veg goes. It's gonna look a bit funky and take a little while to bounce back but she'll get there. If you do decide to bump up the humidity though, keep an eye on the existing bud sites. The can get a little mold/rot from time to time, but that I've only seen on outdoor. Shouldn't have any issues in a cab.:bigjoint:

I was thinking about your light leak/sealing issue though. You could buy a roll of .5cm weather stripping at the hardware store and run it along the edging where the doors meet the frame. Looks like you might be able to place it on the contact area where the doors come together but it might be a bit thick. Also, you could improve temp and humidity stability and other possible light leaks by sealing the inside edges with bathroom silicone after your paint has dried. Give it 24-48 hours to let the fumes to dissipate though. The new cab is rad though man. I dig that finish on it.8-)
Good Info! thank you! There are other cabinet growers here, so any extra info is great

Absolutely fellas. That info isn't mine to be stingy with. Gotta share the wealth!

@Nugachino dude, if you have a speaker in there at full tilt and your fans are still screaming louder than it, I might doubt your definition of stealth
Just playing man. What kind of fan you running anyhow? I don't remember if you mentioned it in an earlier post.

Okay. What I meant was. My mini cab isn't all that stealthy by any means. It leaks light like a sieve leaks water. Has way too much shite hanging off it on the back. And is a noisy mofo.

The only way it would be stealth. Is if you were deaf and or slightly retarded. And didn't know what the hell you were looking at. Or. If you count the fact that you can't actually see the plant.

To be blunt. My minicab is a bit of a joke as far as stealth is concerned.

The fan is just a normal household 240v bathroom home reno fan. I couldn't find anything else small enough to fit inside. Not without sacrificing even more of the already miniscule available space.

Oh okay. Hey man. You work with what you got. Nothing wrong with a bathroom fan if you don't get all that much company at the house or can keep it blocked off in a room or something.

Updates and comparisons to my cabinets.

I'm honestly sitting here looking at my new cab and thinking if I can move my old light into the smaller space. I mean- it's a fair bit deeper and taller. But only a few cm slimmer than the other one.

I'd still be able to get all the electronics in there. And I'd be able to unify the grow spaces. But I'm not sure I can truly be bothered modifying the new confine all that much more.

Probably make it quieter overall... I dunno. I kinda just want to be done building right now. I wanna get into the growing phase already.

Would you mind taking a picture of the light trap from the outside? i'd like to see how much is coming out

The mini hasn't got anything like that. The larger one just has two vents back to back. Fins facing down. With their back face painted matte black. I'll take a pic for you tomorrow. If I can... I've only got a camera phone. And its r3tarded.

That's the one under the light at full tilt. The other one has a divider blocking light. Until I install the exhaust fan.

20170610_165532.jpg ugh. This camera sucks... there's a vent bottom right of the image. This is the back. Before I cut the bolts flush.

The fan vent is installed. The fan hole itself hasnt been cut yet. But it's marked and lined up with the vent. That's with space for a scrubber.

I'm not sure. The sides look to be made of several layers of probably 3mm sheets bound together. Whatever that is. Base, doors and top panels seem to be solid wood. And the back is pissant thin crap.

Does anyone know if I can ask a mod to rename this post. And maybe be a pest. To ask if they'd also nuke a few others?

June, 11, 17.

Wanna try and unify all my grow shite to this thread.

I've got a bucket going. A bigger cabinet nearing completion. And a medium-small cabinet probably going to replace the first option.

Here's the bucket. 1497166307208495862373.jpgThere's two spring onions in there. Some clover. And what a friend calls M1. I've also got what's supposed to be Pineapple Chunk. The seed was huge. That'll be going in the upgrade space. That was put in late. So I'm waiting for that to poke it's head out.

Speaking of which. Here's progress of that new space.

I've decided to use the paint on another project. And instead opt for some kind of film lining. I've heard Panda Film is good stuff. But I've also seen hammered Mylar on ebay too. I've yet to select which I'll use. So I'm open to suggestions. 20170611_155155.jpg20170611_155002.jpg vent with light at lowest and full output.
