well i have 12 2 gallon pot plants, i figure 24 gallons but the pots only fill up 3/4 the way. then the 3.5 gallon controller. thats 27.5. but thats running the res down low and i dont want my pump to airlock. i usually use about 40 gallons for my 12. i only used about 15-20 gallons with my first grow with 3. ive noticed the res holds better ppm and ph when it has more solution in it.

ok so whats ur timer on for how many times of the day do u feed and for how long? if i wanted to use lets say 36 plant site i would have to get another 55 gallon res or no?

not with the ebb and grow. it says u cn run 48 plants on 1 55 gallon res and controller. during veg i run the timer 6-7 times a day for 15 minutes each flood. during flowering i run it 4-5 times a day it just depends on plant size and how much water they need.

whats the average plant diameter? how many straw berry plants could i fit in a 3x3x6 600w-hps with vented shade?

I was researching on the internet yesterday and came across CO2 tabs. One would need to do the math, but it seems like these would be more expensive than another method just 'cause it's sooooooo convenient.

depends on what method of growing you want to use. normal growing u could fit probly 4 plants in there. sea of green u could fit 9 plants. scrog u could probly fit 3 or 4. just all depends on what ur ganna do

what would u do if u had that grow tent? 3x3x7? what type of method, plants?

i would do a scrog. with 3-4 greenhouse seed company's arjan's super haze #3. its a pure sativa but only gets like 4 feet tall instead of 10. its called the "midget sativa." I would place the screen like 2 feet above the plants at like the 3 foot mark and then veg the screen to 50% and then flip to flowering. u will get a really nice yeild cause the sativas like the branch out and will fill the screen nicely.
