The state lied about cannabis, jailed people, destroyed families, and violated private property to outlaw a plant they had no realistic hope of ever eradicating.

And now they have the audacity to say only they can regulate cannabis effectively?

Ya we'll all be able to grow......

So without even being sworn in yet, everyone is pronouncing how the liberals will handle the legalization issue. No different than the conservatives who are calling Justin a failure because he hasn't solved every problem before the start of November.

Give them the chance to make good at least.

I had no idea that a single MP's views represented not only the ENTIRE federal parties opinion but that he also speaks for the Prime Minister...................................OH WAIT, he DOESN'T. Keep trolling LP wannabe. Posting articles from the least credible sources, Wilcox

I'm hopeful but realistic. We've already been told this won't happen over night. It wil happen over then next few years. Continue on using medically or recreationally as you already do. Don't fear arrest but don't seek out police interaction just to push the point.

In the end I'd think it's safe to assume that everyone here is a medical user for the most part. So the time frame in which legalization occurs shouldn't have any bearing on that. It is going to happen. And like Gmack said, it's going to be more relaxed for the time being, just don't stir the pot.

I think it has a huge bearing on how fast we get our right back as medical users. I don't see mj ever being treated like other plants you can legally grow. There will always be constraints and sorry but 6 plants isn't close to enough for most mmj users. The mmar was flawed and we shouldn't settle for less then freedom. JT needs to select a minister of health that is willing to give the sick exactly what we need! The rights to have the cheapest highest quality mj on the planet and to be left alone completely by the Leo's. Grow it, sell it, buy it, trade it, process it, shove it up rnr's ass if that how you choose to medicate. And if your going to tax it and sell it, tax it appropriately. 30% tax on a product that has less medical interactions then Tylenol is bullshit. Gst+pst or hst just like everything else would be fine.
