I use a dryer from advanced nutrients and it works great. My buds are dry in like 3-4 days and ready for jars. I but them in glass jars that have a rubber seal on them. Every 9-10 hours Ill open the jars for like 15 min or so. I do this for like 3-4 more days then its caped off till Im ready to smoke it. It will usually stay in the jar like a month to two months till im done with that batch and all jars are ready to refill.

would you say that the shoe box method would work? like finding a way to hang buds in there ? if so how long would it take to dry buds fully inside a shoebox

the reason i ask is because im about 3 weeks from harvest and ive heard that most noobs screw everything up when it comes to drying process and i dont want that

i have mason jars for curing and i have a pretty good idea on how to cure correct me if im wrong:

keep jars in a dark place and burp the jars 4 or 5 times a day ?

thx

Whack the plant at the bottom of the stem. Cut off the big fan leaves. Hang the plant upside down in your bedroom. Place a fan across the room and have it blowing GENTLY toward the plant. Keep it there for four to five days. After that, cut the buds off the stem and put them LOOSLY into small, brown, paper lunch sacks ... the kind you'd put a sandwich in. Keep them in the sacks for a few days, rotating them a little. The sacks will draw out more moisture. From there, put them into your Mason Jars and open and close them several times a day. Keep a close watch for mold. When the buds are still "springy," but dry on the surface, manicure them really well keeping the sugar leaves for rolling joints. When you are sure the buds are dry, you can vacuum seal them into the Mason Jars using this clever tool:

That's about it.

that pretty much nailed it. That is very closed to what we do. Only difference sometimes we skip the bags and go straight to the jars. THe thing is when it is very humid you have to be very careful. You forget to open that jar one time your fucked. Other thing not mentioned, we like to fully manicure on harvest day.
