mg is fine for me...organic though
I used reg MG with time released nutes and never had a bit of trouble. Just cant give the plant that much water at a time, and water has to be right on on the ph. That way you never have to flush and release all the nutes. I went from seedlings to currently 4th week flowering. They are up to 1 1/2 strength bloom nutes, with the time release soil. all look good.

MG is all i can get around here ather than some bullshit farm soil. I make do with what I can have readly available.

P.S. i mixed 25% perlite in my soil to aid in drainage.
and im using mg nutes. lol

its comical people who talk about who shitty MG is, its the only fert I've used ever in growing and my harvest have always been nice. People equate cheap with bad, and that is simply not the case.

My first grow was done using the MG soil with time release nutes. The plants did well despite my poor care where I allowed the soil to get too dry.

I had mucho knats in the mg organic soil that I used in my second grow. They migrated to my houseplants subsequently. Still have a small infestation after uprooting 2 remaining plants and rinsing all the soil off them that I could before putting them into some Fox Farm soil. Using sticky strips to control the little bastards at the moment.
