A couple months ago, there was a high-level pentagon general in town for a set of defense meetings. His presence would have gone mostly unnoticed outside his pier network, except he was being very vocal about his budget being raided for political reasons to keep a certain tank-building Army depot open.

It seems his budget was raided against his will in order to fund a certain Army depot enough to build 25 new tanks that NOBODY WANTS. Nobody in the US military wants or needs 25 new tanks. But 25 new tanks will be built simply to keep the base open. For political reasons. To keep a few fucking congressmen in good favor with their voters.

You MIGHT be surprised to know that I voted democrat this past fall. For the first time ever. In support of pro-MJ candidates.
