hey guys... had to take some cuttings from my grow house.. had to grow them where i live tho... i hollowed out a pc box and put a 27 watt cfl inside it.. under the cfl within 2 inches is a 3 in tall tuberware container, inside the container is full of water...i have the cuttings in neoprene inserts so they float on the surface... i used clonex gel roughly 3 days ago and plopped them in their current spot.. i also have an air pump pumping air into the solution as well... any thoughts??? this is just until they root. so far they are still very green and not limp in the least

I'm doing the same thing, but inside a rubbermaid to keep the light out of my flowering room. It's the first time i try it but found lots of info about doing it this way. I still need to black out the container with the water in it to keep the lights off the root. The clones have been in there for a couple of days now and are looking nice and healthy.

Is the cut area exposed to light? If so, you need to block all light from hitting any areas where roots will grow. Line the entire container with duct tape so no light gets into your res.

Hey Mr S.

I had roots about a week ago...planted them in dirt yesterday. I added a little aquarium plant ferts. was able raise ppm to 165 or so. seemed to work good I had to cut the clones out of the lid to dave the roots.

Hows your cloning going?

Cheers
