Zinc Deficiency?

So I did a little research on what would make the leaves of my plant so small and curl in all sorts of directions, including inward to create a straw almost out of the leaf, and all I found is it might be a Zinc deficiency. Can anyone verify that it is a zinc problem? The soil PH is 6.5 and the plant is 4 weeks old.

doubt i've ever seen a zinc deficiency myself, but my guess is this more of a strain trait
zinc deficiency is possible, but pretty uncommon problem

I took half of a zinc pill and let it dissolve in some distilled water and watered it 4 times like that. Within the next few days, bright, new, healthy green leave started growing and the rossetting of the stem started to stretch out to normal length. So as my research shows, it was indeed a zinc deficiency.
Here are some pictures of how bad the leaves were, and one picture of the amazing recovery.
