Zoic's Grow - Round 4

I germinated 6 six, 3 of Blue Harley (Blue Ripper x Harlequin) an 3 of PCK (Pakistan Chitiral Kush (Ace) #5 X Scotts OG). One of the PCK did not germinate. They are all 3 weeks old + or - one day. I am vegging them under the 38W fluorescent until the crop upstairs is finished. I topped them all today, one might be more of a FIM, will see how it goes.

Nice, subbed, stoked to see what you end up with on both of those. I've popped a few of the BH myself to test some BX1 crosses and have yet to pop my PVK's, waiting until my summer schedule slows down a bit to make sure I have enough cycles to pay attention to the babies :)

I sure hope I have the same luck I did with the BR, 4 out 4 popped (way back when) and it looks like they are all female. One can only hope.

Nice ratio for sure, sounds opposite of my typical luck with regs. But it worked out well recently when I just ran 8x F2's looking for a male and got 5 of 8 males :)

Thanks GroErr. I have high hopes for the BH having some decent CBD levels.

Round 5 is up - GSC

Cheers, with 3 of them I'm thinking you'll find something you like in there. I have a small 3gal BH going that was originally culled but was still alive after a week in the dark. It's the frostiest of 6 plants in there and smelling dank.

Subbed to your new round thanks, want to see what that GSC looks like and what you think of it.

And then there were three ..... males that is. Wow, 5 plants this round and there were 3 males, not so lucky, but at least I still have one of each.

hat BH at the back is going to be huge, looks like a nice pheno
Well that one in the back turned out to be a male. I took 3 cuttings for clones which are not doing very well. Since I do not know which ones came from a male I am not to bothered that they are slowly dying. I cannot seem to find my start date but I know these are somewhere around Day 10 to Day 14

Damn, shit luck with the males but those remaining females are looking good. You can still take some cuts at this point, they'll take a little longer to root but I've saved phenos many times, recently cut 3 of which 2 rooted at 5 weeks into flowering.

Sorry for the mucho males. I use plastic milk jugs to make labels. Once in a while one goes missing, but for the most part I can tell what everything is. When you start making seeds that is going to be important.

Day 49 for these ladies. Was quite a nasty smell (like cat pee) for a few weeks from the Blue Harley. Now it has more of a fruity smell. The PCK does not seem to smell very much at all.

Nice, that BH developed well, looks like a good haul from both. The cat pee or skunk pee smell earlier on is a good thing, specially when it turns to fruity later, some would kill for that, clone that beatch ;) There are camps that think the skunk piss smell equates to CBD strains, although I have that on my better phenos of Blue Ripper which is high THC. It was likely more subtle in veg but I'll bet a stem rub in veg would have produced that pee smell. That smell turns to a heavy hash/kush smell once they flower ime

Thanks for the update zoic.

Fingers crossed the aroma comes forward a bit more. The pck used was a had a foul hashy aroma in the jar. The scotts imparts plenty of fuel in the dominant phenos.

And that BLueharley looks wonderful. Nice work!
