Zoic's Grow - Round 5 - GSC

With only 200 acres to work with, I am at a disadvantage. I smoke less than a half Z a month, and almost none of my friends and neighbors know I grow and smoke, so it's hard to give it away. Everyone who knows I grow, also grow, and we end up giving each other about the same amount, so no net gain or loss there. My biggest problem is storage. So this misbegotten year has been a blessing in disguise. I do wish I could have made all the crosses I wanted to. Maybe I will hit the fall/winter crop hard hoping for something breedable. Is wishing for small seedy plants wrong?
Not if that's what you want. But I thought you were the one 'complaining' about a lifetime supply of beans on hand already? Lol

Peach, Rotten Stinking Bastard, Hurricane Head and Too Slow are not the same as Ass Cheese and Gorille de Raisin, of which I have less than 20 seeds, and have not made an IBL yet from either. Not to mention all the new Poly Shunks I bought and a whole pile of leftovers a friend gave me. I have 6 seeds or less of 15-20 strains that I really want to grow out and make seeds from the good ones. I'm torn between the 2-3 seeds at a time approach {that I have been using}, and the pop them all approach.

Decisions, decisions...

@zoic careful with those pollen chucks. It's addictive.

Looking good.
Thanks Larry, sound advice. I never had as great an interest until this happened. I just checked again and that tall one outside the tent is definitely a male. I also appears it make be growing some pistils. I am a bit surprised since it has only had 16/8 light, I have not even flipped them yet. If it turns out to be a hermaphrodite I will consider myself very fortunate. The GSC line is our favorite here so more seeds would save me the trouble of cloning. If it is a hermie then I can just isolate it and let it go fuck itself. Winning ....

If you do that you’ll be continuing that hermaphrodidtic gene... s1 progeny will surely be hermaphroditic and any f1s will have a higher rate of hermaphroditism. If it is indeed hermi kill it off IMHO.

Absolutely agree on this, that's not the type of pollen you want @zoic, shortcut to perpetual hermies :(

Thanks guys, I was wondering about that myself. So I hope it is just a male then. I still have 4 unknown GSC so sacrificing one for seeds is no problem for me.

Well this is the second time I grew these GSC bag seeds, but there were no males the first time. Sure hope I only get the one this time.

Thanks. I have a nice collection of bamboo sticks in various sizes. I usually have to add them in at about 6 weeks or so.
