    Is added Co2 safe?

I want to use added co2 in my basement open room grow. I live in the house so i want to be sure I'm safe. The basement room can be sealed up pretty tight if need be. If i seal it up i need an ac to cool things down.

Sealed room, Carbon scrubber with Ozone duct?

Just wondering if the above is a good idea? Mostly for bacteria etc and Im aware that Ozone id bad for you so while carbon filter/fan will be on all the time I could set the Ozone to pulse every few hours (need to look into details) and then cycles the rooms air with other extractor (with...

    Quick Question...

Hey guys, thanks for taking the time to read this. I would like to ask a very simple question. Say one wanted to increase the CO2 in their tent the main ways are yeast/co2 bag etc... Would one be able to use dry ice as an alternative? Just a thought and I would like to hear your opinions.

    Co2 enrichment while using aerodomes

Hi guys, does anyone have any experience with using 1500ppm co2 enrichment while using an autopot set up (with aerodomes)? My concern is the airpump pumping CO2 rich air direct to the root zone and ultimately killing the plant I could drill a couple holes in the wall and have the pumps outside...

    Question on EC and Co2

I'll keep this brief. I read that some hydro growers don't go past 1.2 EC when it comes to nutrients at full bloom. So assuming you are using tap water, do you measure 1.2 EC of nutrients plus the EC of the tap water (example 0.4 EC tap + 1.2 nutrients = 1.6 EC)? Or is it more important to not...

co2 1500ppm++ with no input...fungi in sealed room?

So I have been growing for a long time. Over a decade I have done all kinds of covert grows and have experimented with a plethora of growing methods and have scanned thru these forums and fellow grower's brains for years... Never have I seen what I'm seeing here.. I have relocated to a state...

Do I need a new extraction method?

Disclaimer: Newbies should NOT do anything I do. I have been extracting for decades and know the risks. My head is spinning with options for upgrading my small scale medicinal extraction methods. I'd love to try making a small co2 extractor. But, the complexity and cost seem prohibitive. Rosin...

CO2 Canister Generator for 4x8 Tent Using Bicarb Soda + Citric Acid

Hey all, I started doing some research late last night with regards to CO2 generators, and found many different threads with plenty of opinions, and only a couple regarding these metal CO2 canisters which you simply mix Citric Acid, Baking Soda and water to complete the reaction. Quickly...

    CO2 Burner Experiences?

I am planning on putting a 4x8 short tent in my basement (short because I have , >72in clearance). I would like to do more work with CO2 and I was leaning towards a burner because the room is already has a natural gas line in it. My concern is that both Titan and Autopilot burners ask for 20"...

Is it safe to leave my Exhale CO2 bag in tent with no pest strip?

I decided that I am going to bomb my tent with a no pest strip for a few days, since I found spider mite issues. Can I leave my CO2 Exhale bag in the tent while the no pest strip is fuming away?

    Co2 Question

In a few grows I tried adding co2 to my grow by means of sugar and yeast. I took a regular bottle, punched a hole in the lid and fed an air pump tube thru the hole and had it hanging above my plants. It lasted about maybe a week, Id check the bottle and replace when I see no more bubbles rising...

CO2 only during flower? What should I do?

Hello, If a plant only has normal CO2 (300-400ppm) during every stage up until flowering will additional CO2 (1500ppm) during the flowering stage even be worth it? Will it just kill the plant, not have any affect, or will it in fact still be worth it? Thank you!

Root Zone Temp too high for LED Co2 grow in Rockwool, what to do?

So I just switched to LED and from what I understand plants like much higher temps (85-87F, and as high as 96F with co2) because the leaf surface temperature is substantially lower with LED (lack of IR) when compared to HPS. My room is currently Phase: Week 1 Flower (Just flipped 12/12)...

    Co2 extraction

What's up everyone? It's been a while, but I'm back here looking for some answers. Lately, our CO2 extracted oil has been having an issue with...

    CO2 Enrichment Requirement Concerns

Hey! I’m reading that you should have at least 7500 lumens per sq ft to really take advantage of CO2 enrichment. In a 4x4 area, a 1000w HPS has sufficient lumens (9375 lumens per sq ft) but not a 630w CMH which has less than half as many lumens (4125 lumens per sq ft) even though both lights are...
