Jungles of Borneo where there are more species in a few hectares than all of Europe combined. 24% of this jungle remains, 1.3 million ha cleared annually. Mainly put into palm tree monoculture.

It's not funny anymore, the EPA was never really anyone's top hope for saving the environment but to basically use it to achieve the opposite of what it was supposedly created to do is atrocious. This is good news but it's not nearly enough...
