multi strain grow

So, Thinking about flowering two sets of plants under 24 hours of light, moving the first set into a dark, blanket covered space to rest while the other plants get their 12 hours in. this seems reasonable to me, move half into the dark, switch, get almost twice the harvest in the same amount...
