Thanks for sending my prize so quickly. The R40 supplemental lighting bars arrived well packaged and arrived safely. Included is a brief setup and users manual, a programmable timer and some yoyo hangers.
I chose to install them by attaching them to my HLG Tomahawk. They are very lightweight fixtures.
Using Photone, they added about 140ppfd. Of course, it's all about the wavelength not raw output. And they are only intended to run briefly after lights on and before lights out during flowering to promote stretch and bud formation. It all seems vaguely magical to me but there is real science there. They are nicely made fixtures. I own a sf2000 panel that is my principal veg light and is a few years old. It's very functional but basic. These lights have a more finished, consumer look if you care about that kind of thing. I certainly have strains that would benefit from increased nodal spacing. Could this be a solution? We will see! Thanks again Spider Farmer!

Supposed to be 15 minutes at lights on and before lights off in flower.

Could I run it also 3-4h mid light cycle during flowering to get more photosynthetic activity?

I haven't read about anything like that. It's a dawn and dusk imitating light, I think. I use plenty of tech to grow but I'm not deeply into the science. Just Iike I don't fully understand internal combustion but I drive vehicles.
