I wished I lived closer to any of those, but I reside in the SW metro area and those are just too far north for me. I appreciate you taking the time to provide that information though.

I came in and took off the service valves and re welded them inside where they couldn't get to them. No valves, no access.
And with the cost of freon skyrocketing, it saved them a ton of$$$$

Yeah I saw this morning that it has almost quadrupled, since last year when I was hit. If they can only extract it when the A/C is running I must be the easiest target on the block.

they can extract it running or not. When it's running the liquid gets hot and the vapor gets cold, Maybe it works better when the vapor is cold.
I saw a story where a kid froze his lip to the concrete after he passed out while huffing some.

I was in the union Bldg trades for 32 yrs & worked on a refrigerator factory back in the 70's in Greenville Mich where half the town was fuked up from breathing the old freon , i asked directions from a dude fishing from a bridge who had a flipper for an arm , at lunch we had a waitress who was a water head with a huge mellon , were talkin truck tire size head , i spent 6 months there & in that time i met more people with SEVERE birth defects than anybody would expect to see in one town , cleft lip's , club foot's , hair lip's , disfigured limbs ,midgets & dwarves , blind people ect , im not trying to disrespect any of the people there but in the 70's the whole town was like the twilight zone from freon exposure .

The guy who wrote the movie script for Idocracy was a prophet of generations to come .
