I got a license to start a large commercial grow in my state. I'm new to growing but want to get some good information. Getting ready to start an indoor 4800 sq Ft grow and would like to find out the best way to grow to got the most out of the room I have to work with. hydroponic, ebb-flow, dwc or a soilless mix? As well as what nutrients is best.

No plant count restrictions. I've got 4800 feet to work with and trying to figure out the best way to got the best results.

4800 isn't really that large as things go.

DWC if done right is best for plant count restrictions. Flood n Drain SoG is best if canopy area restrictions.

GH Flora 3 Part.

Really GH three part? I'm not doubting you, i use to be all about GH 3 part. But what do think about Botanicare Kind three part? I like it because the base is just cal-mag its a 4-0-0 in the 6th week of flower i stop using the base and just the bloom nutes. Which are 0-6-6. I get the best colors due to no nitrogen. Any ways snaps i believe your probably one of the most experienced growers on this site.

Personally, I think it would be easy for the master grower to make his own custom nutrient profile for very cheap, easily.

Although, I'm sure buying nutrients in large quantities you can get some deals.

I have no experience in commercial grows so......take that fwiw

GH 3 part with a PK boost is hard to beat. They have been around the longest, and at times i have a hard time not using there product. The larger the grow the more organic nutes are harder to use. Hard to reach and maintain both EC/PPM and PH levels.

PK boosters are good if used correctly. it is easy to burn your plants with them so it is recommended to stay away until you have a couple of runs under your belt.

but snaps has a good point, i have seen plenty of commercial growers use GH 3 part and it is always better then most organic shit i have seen.

GH 3 part is tits!

If you master it the only other juices you need is pH down and perhaps calimagic.

I gotta go back to that. I had success with GH 3 part in soil and hydro. Soil I would feed, feed, flush. And hydro just flush every week as i bumped PPM's up.

The hassle of setting up a large commercial grow is complex enough.. The plumbing setup time and the possibility of leaks is and problems almost takes away from the increased yield.

I think hand water coco DTW is the better for large setups. Fabrication is very minimal, and with your novice questions would be better because it operates like soil. With DTW no constant monitoring of ph is needed.

Again with larger setups I'm ok with general hydroponics, however I'm partial to the dry series of nutrients, maxigrow and maxibloom. You can adjuncts from there and by themselves they perform very well.

General hydroponic flora series are great. I mainly buy 2 bottles.. The micro and bloom and it covers everything for cannabis.. Find a npk calc and you can customize your ratios. For me in bloom I run a 1:2 ratio 5ml micro 10 ml bloom per gal.

Wild is 100% correct. If you are growing over 100 plants i recommend large plywood boxes lined with plastic sheeting (home depot) filled with quality soiless medium. I used to grow professionally and had great luck producing 1.5lb/1000w in this sort of setup. Put the boxes on wheels so that u can separate them and get to the inside plants.
