So I just received 29 cotton candy kush clones from a friend of mine. Never grown this strain before been researching how it grows and planning everything out. Now I usually do 9 plants per light in 5-gallon pots, but I'm thinking about doing a little less per light this run.
So they are already transplanted in two 5-gallon pots and are about 6 inches tall right now just starting to pop some side branches. I have a pretty large room it was built for 8 1000 watt lights, it's 17 feet long 10 feet wide and 8 feet high. But I would prefer not to run 8 lights since this is my first grow in months and would like to keep the PG&E bill down.
The recipe I usually use for all my plants is pretty simple, Botanicare liquid Karma, Botanicare pure blend Pro for soil, Advanced Nutrients Bud Candy and House and Garden drip clean. I've had pretty good success with this recipe pound+ per light.
So I guess my questions are, for anyone that has experience growing cotton candy kush how do you like to grow it? Chop the tops super cropping sea of green? And how many would you suggest per llight depending on how the plant grows?
Any opinions or advice on my recipe too is always appreciated. Thank you in advance.
