Anybody use the spider farmer sf600? Only 15 watts less than the sf1000

So I was looking at buying 2 spider farmer sf1000 but then I noticed the sf600 is €50 cheaper and is 85 watts compared to 100 for the sf1000.

It doesn't look like the sf600 uses a meanwell driver so I emailed them to see what they're using but other than that this seems to be a better deal. I could buy 3 sf600 for just about the same price as 2 1000's and have more light.

Does anybody have experience with the sf600? Most of the info I see is for the 1000 and larger models.

The extra cost isn't just for 15W, it's for the additional 15W and a dimable MeanWell driver. The SF600 just turns on and off and doesn't support dimming.

With LED lights you get what you pay for. $1/watt is pretty common for this type of light from SF or Mars Hydro. You can build an even better light for the same price if you have the capabilities to.
I probably could build a light but I would rather buy something ready to go. I plan on using 2 spider farmers with 2 315 cmh in a 5x5.

So, in about 6-12 months you'll have 2 flower tents, a veg tent, and a clone/seedling tent, with around 2000Watts of light

I started growing with one tent and one light around June or July last year....that's how I know lol

Haha I wish. I live in a country where its not legal so I need to keep the setup as small as possible.

I give you one grow before the thought hits you... "what if I just bought another 2x2 tent for veg?" Then comes the, "ya know what, I got another closet upstairs that noone uses, time to try a perpetual grow with 2 flower tents."

Lol I've been growing for a few years so I think I'll be able to control myself. I have plenty of room to setup another tent but really don't have the need.

Actually i think i might go for the alibaba shenzen archibald sf knockoff. I dont have much faith in any type of warranty that is offered but for half the price it might be worth the risk.

Maybe ill get 2 of the sf2000 and dim them and throw in 2 315 cmh. I think that would be a pretty nice setup

Well I ordered the alibaba sf1000 for €105 and would have been cheaper but the shipping costs as much as the light.

they use the same diodes as the HLG or anybody else, only difference is maybe quality of metals used...but maybe not even that. I'll tell you in apparently 5 weeks from what @Budzbuddha is saying.
