Only 4 plants this year. Few of the jaegersnitzels started flowering on me when I put them out late may.

All of my Skunks, WW,OG Kush are short under 4ft, but my TNR and bag seeds are between 5-6ft already and still growing, who knows after stretch. What did I get myself into! I guess it’s a good problem to have.

My 3 photos have grown through the first trellis layer and reaching for the second. I’m going to wait til they get a tad bit taller before I get the BT out.

Autos are healthy in preflower.. after a long debate as to when to apply my bloom top feed, I did it yesterday at almost 6 weeks

last year was my first year outdoors, it turned out very well. Well worth the investment. Don’t be scared of mistakes or problems, as long as you stay on top of problems and take good care of them they will reward you in the end. Good luck

Companion planting is really interesting, not saying thats what you're going for here, but just reminded me of it... Im sure there are tons of benefits that future generations will learn about with root exudates that benefit seemingly unrelated plants. Have heard theres a benefit of leaving old rootmass in beds/pots if growing the same plant for the exudates released during the last crop cycle. Super interesting to see what type of connections and future of organics goes (hopefully..)

I'm not sure that my companion plantings are beneficial. There are probably better choices. I would suspect that the corn isn't a beneficial companion since it is a heavy feeder. I planted the giant sunflowers and corn more as a visual distraction. Something else for the eye to focus on.

I leave the root mass in the beds over winter but that's because the soil is frozen solid.

I'm struggling with my first outdoor grow as well ... just lost my entire Forum Stomper x Forgotten Cookies to bud rot after all the rain we just had ... it was too far gone to even bother with any remedies. Slugs have been an issue all month as well.

I gave some extra plants I had to a friend in Maine and his plants are easily twice the size of mine ... clearly I have a long way to go. Next year I'm thinking of getting a small greenhouse set up

do you like using the burlap? does it really work good like a bag?

getting big ... top dressed them all with a mixture of Penobscot Blend... worm castings... alfalfa, blood, & crab meal... Build-a-Soil Craft Blend.. Stoned Dust ... and a pound of new clover seed ... this should give them a nice push through the dog days of summer
