Ready to cut down? Day 63

Well Day 63 in flower. I think getting close. I have mostly milky trichs but no amber yet (at least that I can see), took some pics just at lights out. Been a crazy first grow with lots of mistakes and learning but honestly I think I am still going to have a decent harvest.
Wondering what you all think about these?
thanks again ;)

The purple colored ones look more ready than the other. I would agree that trichome pics would be best to judge. That sativa dom looks like it needs more time for sure just from the looks of it.

All 4 plants are supposed to be the same strain. Trichs are pretty well all milky. Can’t see any amber yet.

Different pheno I would guess. But the buds look pretty swollen and if the trichomes look milky and if that's what you're going for, then go for it. Without a closer look, most of what I can see looks pretty done. All in all looks tasty.
*I usually wait to see some amber because I usually like a mix. Although I'm not the type to wait for amber all over.

What would you suggest near the end for a neut strength reduction if you are not a fan of flushing?
I reduce to 1/4 strength the last 2 weeks. I never flush. Flushing is meant to wash out a mistake you made by over feeding, or when you notice a toxic problem. Basically you’re getting rid of the excess nutrient you put in the soil, giving you a restart on your feeding. But to purposely starve your plant when nothing is wrong, I don’t get it. But if it makes you feel better, go for it.

Those plants look good OP. Nice job
Thanks. Ya I am super excited. Can’t wait to cut them down and then learn how to dry and cure properly ;). It has been a fun ride, I can’t to start my next grow. Want to try and not 2 plants and in soil again as I really would like to dial in how to read my plants and what and when they need. Also might try to build my own led. We shall see.
Once I do cut these down, I will for sure post some pics. Many thanks to everyone on here for all your help to us Newbies.

The key to drying is make sure you control your Temp and RH. Try to keep your temps below 75 and your RH around 50. If you can do that, your drying process will be slow and easy. Chop the entire plant and hang them in darkness. That's it, just leave them be for 7 days.

After 7 days, dry trim to your liking. Put all trimmed buds into brown paper bags, only fill the bags about 2-3 inches deep. Give the bags and good shake or two each day and open them to circulate some fresh air. IF YOU CONTROL YOUR RH AND TEMP WHEN DRYING, you can leave the buds in the paper bags for 5-7 days.

You can ease off nutes towards the end since they'll need less, but flushing with water isn't gonna remove anything from the buds. It'll just starve them, but if your in soil there will be some residual nutrients in the soil, so plain water the last couple weeks is fine, but not necessary. I'm doing no-till now so flushing wouldn't do anything but wash out some nutes outta the soil. Also some nutrients have stonger bonds with the soil and can't really be flushed at all.

I mainly use plain water anyways and as I water the dry amendments get broken down by the microbes.

Well saw some amber trichs this morning so I will be cutting down tomorrow morning. Plan to start before lights come on in the morning.

Make sure you are checking triches in right places not on leaf.

Also Never go by breeder harvest times , go by the flower maturity ( as long as it needs )
