What do with a bunch of wild (pollinated) plants?

So I was out fishing, exploring the local river, and I found this very nice spot right on the bank of the river with sand/gravel ground, no trees and very litle vegitation. And there I found many plants scattered around. They looked healthy, looks like they had plenty of water (being on the river bank) and light (sandy, gravel soil no grass and little weeds). I live in a part of the world where the climate is perfect for marijuana growing. I've found wild plants many times before (even in the city) but never this good looking.

I took some samples and the stuff is OK, its sticky, it smells good and it medicated me. Its not potent but a full joint does the job.

The problem is, most of the bud's mass is in seeds. Removing all of those is really time consuming and the smoke is not plesant at all. Im basicaly smoking the seed shells and the tiny leaves that are frosted.

So I wonder, what is the most efficient way to extract the good stuff from those plants? Would be great if it can be done without having to remove all the seeds.

Here's a pic of what's left from the samples.

Interesting question. I think I would trim everything off the sticks, pack the bits in jars, and do an iced ethanol quick wash (or ISO - not religious about it). Before trying a second wash, I believe I’d dry the material VERY well, then break it up to extract the seeds, then re-wash. ALL seeds are precious, and they would likely be unaffected by the initial quick wash, so to me it would be worth the effort.

Then again, I’m from the pre-sensimilla era: even *with* sensi, I check for (and find!) ripe seeds, ‘cause smoking seeds sux

Cold alcohol extraction or ice water hash, but no hash bags sold here. I can get a silkscreen tho.

Just from the samples I have probably 1000 seeds and I think the genetics are okay. I plan to germinate like 20 of them and chose the best female to start a grow soon.

Maybe I don’t understand something, but I’ve never used a “hash bag”, or even seen one, and don’t know why they’d be necessary. QWET and QWISO techniques involve putting your herb and your alcohol in the freezer overnight (I’ve always used canning jars), combining the two the following day with several seconds of shaking, back into the freezer to rest for a minute, then another quick shake and drain the jar into another container through a coffee filter.

For more detailed instructions you should be able to find them by searching on QWET / QWISO

No soaking overnight in iso.
Freeze the 90% or better iso, and the herb. Put the herb in a mason jar or something, dump in the iso and shake for 30 sec or so. Pour through a coffee filter or fine mesh into a pyrex pan and wait for it to evap. A fan helps
Scrape up the qwiso hash with a razor blade and smoke.

Thanks for the info. I've read as out that and I feel better about it now.
Do you let the alcohol evaporate or use some special technique?
Also how do you use the product?

By iso you mean isopropyl alcohol, right?

Since the material I'm going to use is of low concentration of THC maybe I should do that 4 - 5 times before evaporating?

Is it bush weed, aka hemp? I would most likely make canna butter, but you can butane hash oil, bubba hash, or press them. Probably weak stuff since its in the elements, if its hemp its already super low in thc. Good luck. If it was hemp, I would stick pick it. Just take the seeds back were you got them so they reproduce. Then come back every year!

Hey any weed found is good weed no matter if its 1%-30% thc . People buy hemp at weed prices were i live, so either way its a good find. I just wouldn't smoke the buds, lord knows the mold and bugs possibly on it

Im looking for something really simple and isopropyl alcohol is probably the best option.
Isnt hemp like bamboo and much less than 1% THC?
I plan to go fishing again Saturday and I'm gonna take some pictures of the plants to post. They could have grown a bit, it has been a week since I found them.

I totally agree. If it gets me high it's good weed.
I did find a couple of larvas and a spider...

This thing

Basically a bag with a silkscreen on the bottom from what I see. Put it in a bucket, put the frozen material in it with ice water and the good stuff should go throu the the mesh and collect on the bottom of the bucket.
Probably my plan B if I fail with the alcohol extract.

I tried bubble guys bags last time, and think the 1 gallon are too small. Going with the smaller bags didnt save much cash, and were difficult to work with.
