Wow, for the price though (CDN$$) this light looks great. I have one v1 and one v2 already, v3 with the rspec looks awesome.. The first two versions of these lights worked great for me. I'd love to add the Rspec and the UV though.
Looks like the best for price, geek beast was 800 might be less now

Some of the asking prices of these new High End LEDs are kind of crazy. Like the new 600w chilled light is $2500 US. Unless your electricity price is .50c a k/w like in some places I don't see a ROI.

4 out of 5 of my lights are my builds.

This is my newest one 665w

Cheers

Love your lights, only reason ive got the lights i have is because i found them lightly used for a third mrrp!

I’ve used 2 vipar spectral in veg 130 true watts and they do what they’re supposed to. HLG600r in flower and it beasts like an hps
I’ve grown with 1,2, and 3 600 waters and I’d choose led over hps any day. Will never go back to hps if I can help it
Totally agree, always had problems with hps, i just bought new bulb with more blue than cheep bulb, but the led came up for sale so i had to buy it.

Pricewise id have to agree, over 10 years its only 70 a year, its a long term investment and when you look at it like that the price isnt so harsh, im poor so its easier to look at it this for me. The diodes in my light are rated for 150,000 hrs use on highest setting. With less fade over time than 75 percent or less power level.

I just pulled the trigger on 2 of these with 2 UVA additions. Can't wait. I'm 3k poorer now though lol.

Gottavlet me see pics after you get them going, fucken awesome. What footprint will they cover?
Says 5x5 in flower so 10x10 but then plus i will have my 260xl in between them over my 8x4 lol. Big yeilds commin my way! To think I used to have over 2kw HPS now I have only 1460 LED and I am killing it compared to HPS even with the v1/v2 .

Well 980 (200$ off!) + tax + 260 for the UVA bars each. 100 delivery.

As for 730nm it says:

Our HLG 600 R Spec Commercial Indoor Horticulture LED grow light is designed to replace 1000watt HID. Each HLG 600 uses 4 of our custom designed full spectrum high efficiency white light quantum boards with Samsung LM301H and Deep Red 660nm LED's. This unit is dimmable, with wattage output from 60 to 600 watts

So it has 660nm not 730nm. Not sure the difference. Actually looking at the spec output it goes from 660-780. The UVA will be killer too I'm sure:

The GeekBeast look very nice with even ppfd, but less R. But they are about 400+$ more than these 600Rspecs..also something about the HLG passive cooled LEDs, I love that they are so simple and if a driver goes I can replace it for ~100$ myself. No fans, no breaking parts otherwise. Love HLG for that.

Just noticed these at one of my suppliers and price is quite good but haven't seen any reviews https://www.hydrofarm.com/p/phantom-pheno-4https://www.hydrofarm.com/p/phantom-pheno-440-led-440w-100-277v-mp-spectrum/phl440lmp40-led-440w-100-277v-mp-spectrum/phl440lmp

Probably sell it in store at $560+ tax so in Spider Farmer territory but with a brand name and a large supplier for warranty behind it.
That is a great price and in direct competition to the board kits which require assembly.

So decided to bring in some of the Phantom Pheno 440 units in. Its quite the build on these compared to the Spider Farmers. Actually pretty heavy unit. Attached some photos. I'm willing to do a small run of 4 units at a intro price of 535/tax in + shipping if anyone is interested, need some feedback/reviews. They are on sale atm and rep said will be $100 more after sale :( Kinda sucks as at this price they could give SF and all the Amazon brands run for their money as I'd also be willing to carry them as they are backed but a large local wholesale so would be no fuck around with warranty.

Some photos from my phone.

Any Specs on these? 440 true watts I'm guessing?

From what I can tell they appear to be passive-cooled. Also they have UV warning labels and the spectrum shows they have the 300 plus NM spectral range. I couldn't tell from the pic but it did look like they had the diodes for UV? These look like really decent lights and I would definitely purchase some for the price if I did not have the HLGs already.

I'll take better pics of the LED side on Monday. There is a really big uv warning sticker on the frame
