I have an autoflower inside a solo cup that is nearing week 4 and I would love to get some extra seeds from her without impregnating every chick in my only tent.

Colloidal silver is on hand, would I be able to just start spraying now and eventually cover her with some kind of bag to keep the pollen away from my other plants?

If so what is the product name? Thanks.

I would love to see the auto in a solo cup at 4 weeks old
Here are my brothers at 4 weeks in 5gln. Just curious why wanting seeds from her. I would spray her in a diff area if I was gonna do it and I wouldn’t put bag over it. But someone else with more exp May now more.

Best way to go imo, would be to remove the plant from your grow just before it drops pollen. It'll do fine in a window or some such.
Usually in this kind of situation, you'd spray just one branch, then remove said branch just before pollen drops and put it in a cup of water until the sacs open and collect pollen on a piece of paper.

Those look great for 4 week old autos.

Sure I have a couple pics, here's a little context first though. It went from what I thought was a failed germ to a surprised stunted seedling.

Thanks. I'm searching for an option where it could stay in the tent though.

You can pull the plant before it starts dropping pollen and isolate it somewhere else to collect it. That's how I do it as do many others. Once it gets ready to start dropping pollen it won't require much light and many just cut off the branches and stick them in some water over something to collect the pollen.

Some get more elaborate than this but all that's needed is keeping the branches alive long enough to collect the pollen. These were pulled out of the flower tent before they started to drop pollen and moved to a different location. But my flower tent is in the garage, the rooms are separated by a couple doors and I don't have central heating/air conditioning. Pollen goes airborne very easily so you would have to look at those factors in relation to where you're grow tent is. If it's just in another room and you turn on the heat you could circulate pollen all through the residence and potentially to your flower tent.

Wasn't exactly the answer I was looking for but no doubt useful information. Bookmarked. Thanks.

I don't know what to tell you. That's basically what you'll have to do or some version similar if you want to collect pollen without risking pollinating the entire tent. I don't know of any product that you just cover the plant with to keep the pollen from spreading around the rest of the tent.

I seem to believe I read that somewhere, maybe I'm mistaken. No worries. Thanks for taking the time to chime in.

Actually you can build a male isolation chamber out of a clear tote, a pc fan, tubing to water the plant through, and filtering material to block the pollen from escaping from the intake and exhaust vents.

Google "male isolation chamber".

Where there's a will there's a way. Some great ideas there.

This one though.

I've never used those. It's 10 micron. I think the average size of cannabis pollen is somewhere around 30 microns but it can be smaller. Only one way to find out.

Good luck.
