The real eye-opener on that page was that growing over 8 plants moves from misdemeanor to felony, which was relevant for me because I wanted to do a SOG that would probably net me within the legal 8oz, but plant count would be an unacceptable risk for my comfort zone.
The other point that surprised me are the penalties for extracting your own kief. You can buy it, but making it will net you a felony and 5 years. Anyone want some kief extraction bags.

Nobody cares if you make some hash for your personal use with your harvest. But I'll take your bags if your giving them away.

The whole hash and concentrates section doesn't make sense to me, or maybe I'm reading it wrong. You can have 8oz of flower, but 16oz "solid infused" with no penalty... Is "solid infused" hash? I can have a pound of homemade hash at home legally? I must be misunderstanding something.

Not if you make it yourself:

0.25 oz or less not purchased from retailerMisdemeanor6 months$ 2,500
More than 0.25 oz not purchased from retailerFelony5 years$ 125,000

The good news is Kate recently signed a bill to allow rec users to have up to 2 oz in possession, up from 1 oz.

You are not supposed to make hash or concentrates. It looks like you can have up to a 16 oz if it was purchased from a retailer and produced by a licensed manufacturer.

"Note that processing, or extracting is Manufacturing under Oregon law."

It's probably due to idiots making BHO and blowing things up and burning down houses. They just lumped all concentrates together and made it so you have to purchase those kinds of products that are produced in a controlled environment.

I do tinctures all the time because it’s so simple. They are super strong, I put 3-4 drops in my stout and I’m set for the night.
There’s no way I should be able to to have more tincture than weed. But I’ll take it.
On another note, Out of curiosity I went into my local dispensary in Hood River just to check out their selection of feminized seeds. $65 for three Northern Lights seeds. I just laughed and left.
I already bought 20 Blueberry Muffin and 10 Apple Blossom seeds for less than $10 a pop and got 6 freebies Pistachio seeds
