You might want to replace that with glass when you can. I think you will get more light through it. I know what you mean, I like to have glass between the bulb and the plants myself. Really helps on the heat. Even though it reflects some of the light back away from the plants.

its day 11 and my plants are def growing slow i started nutes yesterday 250 ppm weak. thier leaves are curled down. i increased circulation

i set my ph and will check it later to see if changed. the rockwool was very wer so i lifted out the pot more to dry. their so young i didnt they would be nute deficent.

got some roots comin thru the bottom and gettin some tru leaves now last night they got their 1st taste of hps light. my solution is a lil frothy but i think its from the h2o2

DAMN lost one of the girls i think root rot had the rockwool to wet she stoped growing and will be put to rest later tonight and one of my plants has brown spots on it wtf................................I cant afford to lose another. what should i do someone PLEASE HELP? Should i germ a few more plants they would be over two weeks behind or do u think the increasee space will make way for bigger buds?

I have not done much hydro yet but would recommend using smaller blocks to start with and more pellets. I start mine in the small round ones.

hell yeah next time ill do that i got all my stuff without picking it out got it with a growbox from homegrown hydroponics( fuckin bastards) i ripped that peice of shyt apart and used the stuff they gave me to make my own.

Feb 13 day 6. Plants are good some a lil stretchy cause i didnt have the light close enough. Work on the box all day earlier. i need better circulation fans cuz the little ones are shitty. I need a stealth way to cover my exhaust fans light leak.

When building my cabinet - I did a lot of research on ventilation. I am by no way a pro but a few things you could try doing to block the light on the back of the cabinet would be to build a light baffle like shown on this post I found here. You could even build something on the inside of the cabinet so its not showing on the outside. (Vent into your utility cabinet with a baffle built between the flower room and utility area the suck the air out kind of like what I did with mine.

Dark room louvers are great - I got the 8x8 from B&H.

changed my res and added the voodoo juice i pray to the bud gods it still work. Another plant got a few brown spots i hope the res change helps. im gonna check them out when the lights come on at nine. My plants have really grown.

You should try to get something to treat the root rot. Not sure what besides H2O2. I think there is better stuff.
