Attached, 2 plants under 8 2700k 26 watt CFLs.

Week 9 of flowering started today. Just whacked them with 15-30-15 and a light dosage of molasses today.

Any ideas of a harvest date?

I will upload more pictures tomorrow. The pics I took are 8 megs and I lost my program to shrink them. I'll take new pics when they wake up.

Thanks.

I'm not an expert on this, but she looks like she can really fill out a lot more. I would estimate 2 weeks for full ripeness, but def. get a picture update of the full plant and such

Under CFLs those bottom popcorn nugs aren't gonna fill out too much more. I'd go a few more weeks at least, b/c they are still forming new calyxes on those lower nugs. Show us what the colas look like, that should be your main concern (most density). I did a CFL grow and the nugs turned out quite like that, pretty fluffy but it smoked good.

A couple more. Will have more tomorrow.

Yea you're still forming new calyxes on those. I would keep em going 2-4 weeks depending on how much they start filling out. I'd say maybe 2 more weeks then start flushing, then let them finish for about two more weeks after that.

Also your fan leaves may eventually start turning yellow and falling off when the buds start to ripen. Your plants still look pretty green so you may still have a bit of time on those.

i'd say 4-6 weeks more, personally i'd go with 6 weeks unless it is completely finished earlier w/o a doubt. better a little late chopping than to chop to early

I wait a week then flush for a week, that might help but you should stop with the nutes now if you are planning on harvesting soon. good looking plants bro! keep up the good work

Thanks bro. After 3 failed attempts, this is my first successful grow, so I'm very curious as to what to expect. I'm not really talking about weights / yield so much (obviously I'm still anxious though), but I'm more concerned about quality of smoke, flavor, etc. etc. I've always just bought mediocre 1/2's and oz off the general public. Never burned my own, and also never experience sensimilla eiter.

Thanks to all for the advice. I tried to avoid it, but I think I need to get some sort of magnifying glass. I tried to find one at Radio Shack as some on here told us we could, but they didn't have one. Maybe Lowes or Home Depot in the tool dept?

The flavor and smell are going to depend on a few things. The medium, nutrients, whether or not you flush, and how long you cure are some of the important things that will influence the taste/smell. Soil IMO is the medium that yields the best flavor, and organic nutes will also make that flavor good. Make sure you read up on the drying/curing as well as flushing b/c those are the parts most people mess up on, leaving them with poor tasting smoke. After your first harvest you'll see what mistakes you made, and next time your skill will be so much better from this experience. Don't get your hopes too high for the flavor aspect, b/c a bad cure can ruin the flavor and there is plenty of trial and error to be had with that process. If it's a completly sensi harvest then your high should be great, and potency should be up there. At least better than the mid grade you got the seeds out of.

hey buddy those are lookin good. they actually look to be at a point right between where my two babies are at. (see pics below) comparing my plant and yours (if you could consider that a legit comparison considering strains and all other factors), i know mine have at least 3 more weeks ahead of them. the trichs are still completely clear and there are still tons of new calyxes forming.

im expecting my harvest time to be some time around early to mid May.

hope this helps out and gl with the remainder of your grow!!!

(i.e. the first two pics are of the cola and lower nug of one plant and the 2nd two are of the cola and lower nug of the 2nd plant)

Looks kinda like what I got with CFLs about a year ago. I got 1.5 oz off one plant, and it was good smoke. Best in a bowl though, b/c CFL buds are fluffy and in a joint it burns too quick or something...just not as good in a joint. I'd go at least 3+ weeks rolling, you've def got a lot of new calyxes forming.

Yours appear to be a bit further along than mine. They look good.

I'm going to have to harvest no later than May 6th. I'm leaving town for a week and will have a house sitter. She can be trusted with my home, but not with my secret. Clarification. She wouldn't sell me out, but I know she'd tell one person and that's two too many already. So, I'm cutting the night before I leave and hanging them in the attic? Sound good? No? Maybe above a shelf in a spare bedroom closet? Shoebox? Paperbag?

I've been kind of leaning towards cutting them down and just wadding everything into a paper grocery bag, tossing it in the attic (or closet) and dealing with it when I get back....

Hot off the press, taken this evening.
