Pablo's Balcony Bagweed Bush

How's the density on your buds Pablo? Mine are a little fluffy, I hear molases works good, did you use anything to fatten em up?

I also cut two of mine down a while ago, they dried really quick, I'd guess yours are dry enough by now, you could throw em in the cure.

My buds are fluffy too. Most of it is probably ready to be put into jars. I'll get some more pics posted later today. I did use molasses, but nothing will fatten buds when you chop them 3 - 4 weeks early. I've been smoking it, tho. It's pretty stony, smooth draw, burns nicely leaving a small grey ash.

Okay, here's some pics of the dried bud being trimmed off and put into curing jars. There's still more drying out in the closet. I'm out of jars for now and will need at least 2 more. You can see how airy the buds are. The smell is very "piney". Smells like one of the Kush's I picked up at the dispensary. I guess I'll keep these jars in the dark closet, and burp them every so often.

For me, this is a ton of pot. This should last me over a year perhaps? Not sure. I'll be giving a bit away, too.

Hey man congrats on your "bush grow," that blows about those bugs but it seems you pulled through. You're easy rider is lookin nice. Check mine out, I got one of those, a roadrunner and an afghan ryder. They are a lil younger than yours and an indoor grow. My journal is in my sig. Later bro, happy growing.

Thanks for checking it out, Big. Yeah, I got plenty off that plant, but just a fraction of what I should've had. Almost a blessing in disguise, tho. That thing was wearing me down and the smell was getting pretty obvious.

I think your Easyryder should do better indoors than mine is doing outdoors. Mine was started late in the season, so it hasn't had the advantage of longer days. I've seen some pics on this site of fat chunky lowryder type plants with huge colas that were grown indoors. It'll be fun watching yours mature. Cheers.

Thanks man, my other auto from Dinafem, Roadrunner, is looking awesome. All the lower branches moved to the top for light. It will be interesting to see how that one turns out as well. I'm sure we'll both have a great harvest!

I've finally got all of my bud into jars and curing. The first stuff I put in jars now has a nice sweet smell to it, the pine smell is almost gone. I'm assuming that's normal?

And here's the Easyryder at day 43. I rarely have to water it because it's in a 3 gallon pot which takes awhile to dry out. It's only had nutes 1 time. I'll give her some Big Bloom next watering. I'm thinking about picking up the Tiger Bloom, as well. But, it doesn't seem to be displaying any signs of nute deficiency - yet. It's still got about a month to go, which is plenty of time for me to screw it up.

I found one caterpillar munching on a lower leaf about a week ago. It was just a solo worm, as there's no buds for any to burrow into. I removed it and sprayed with BT that evening. So far, no worms.

Looking good bro...I'm coming up on day 30 and are getting the hairs now.

Yeah, I checked yours out today. You can already tell by the structure that it's gonna be at least twice the size of mine. I really wish I had just planted a few of these back in February, had I known about them. Hell, I could have had 2 separate crops by now. These are fun little plants and I'm looking forward to next year.

Update on my Easyryder. Day 50 and looking fine. I fed her the other day with a bit of Big Bloom and molasses. Should be about 3 weeks before she's finished. I think. Thoughts/comments appreciated. Cheers.

Thanks again, Big. Looking forward to another update on your girls.

I gave it another feeding yesterday with Big Bloom and molasses. Not much to report on. Still looking nice and healthy. I'm hoping it plumps up more over the next couple of weeks. Actually, it's at day 57, so that makes her 8 weeks old now. It might be ready sooner, I'm not sure. Maybe it's about done and won't plump up much more.

There's also a shot of my haul of fluffy bud from the bagseed bush. It gets the job done.

And a shot of the sunset the other night. Cheers.

Looking good bro, haven't heard from ya in a while. I would check the trichs to see what you got. Then you might be able to figure out when to cut her. She certainly looks good tho..Very frosty.

I will have updates prob on mon. These plants are out of control! Later man:leaf:

Thanks Big. I spent a few days in Vegas so just getting back in, and checking out my girl. Tomorrow will be 9 weeks. The hairs have browned up and are shriveling, but it looks like it could go another week. I may not get a scope. I was thinking I'd flush at my next watering, which should be a few days away still. And then let her dry out, and chop. Hell, that might be too long. That would make it about another 10 days or so. Probably not a big deal.

Here's some pics from this afternoon. Cheers.

I thought this was an interesting write up on the Easyryder:

http://www.sensibleseeds.com/detail.php?ID=2409

It says they take 70 - 75 days to mature. (But, another seedbank claimed they mature in 8 weeks, which would be 56 days). I'm at day 64 now and I think she's got a bit longer to go. It also says that when grown outdoors, they show a little purple towards the end. First time I heard that. Anyone else have knowledge of the purple phenomenon?

I've heard of purple hues in some strains when it gets colder toward the end of the year and their lifecycle.. I didn't know about the Easy Ryder being able to do so though.

Day 68 today. I think she's done. I just flushed. I wish I had used a smaller pot, because it's been taking over a week for it to dry out between waterings. Do I need to wait for it to completely dry out before I chop?

I usually flush for a week before I chop..How long ago was it when u last fed her? If you just fed her than I would wait a few days and then chop. Don't know if anyone else has advice but that's what I would do..She looks great tho, nice and frosty.

My last feeding was 12 days ago. That's what I mean about it taking a long time to dry out. I probably only fed her 3 or 4 times during her entire life cycle - and just a minimal amount at that.

I'll just keep an eye on her. I'll wait a bit longer and chop.

If it was that long ago you flushed, you won't have anything to worry about. If she hasnt changed at all in the past few days I would take her down..

Sweet man, looking forward to it!

Just to be clear: I flushed her with plain water today. My last watering (which included nutes) was 12 days ago.

In any event, thanks BigRaw. I'm confident she can be chopped pretty much any time now.
