Well Im new to this whole growing subject, but I have been doing my research to see what kind of work this willl take to accomplish. But there are a few things that I havent been able to conclude about.
The first thing that I need help with is location. I got the secretive shit down but I need to know if this area is suitbale for growing. The area is very lush in greens. I found a few spots where it is preety abundant in healthy plants but I need to know if the amount of light will be enough. If you look up in the sky its not just a full pane of the sky but is slightyl blocked by a few trees, so is it good if a few trees block the sun and recieve decent amounts, or do I need a full view of the sun. I live in southern florida so I really have sun 24/7 lol
The second thing is the soil. In the area there is a layer of frehsly fallen leaves which i am sure are good for nutrients but that is not the problem. The soil underneath has a a few very small root systems but is easy to make room through. The soil isnt super damp but is slighty dry and is somewhat like sand. With to much water it can be very muddy like but it is also soft when damp and still flexible. Water isnt a problem if the water needs to be damp, I usually will just ride my bike to the spot witha full water bottle and pour it around, and if I neeed more a water fountain isnt more than 200 feet away from it.
So my idea is to get the seedling to start out in a planters pot, remaining there to maybe to about 2 -3 weeks, and then transfer to the spot i have selected and maybe mix the soil with some gardening soil.
