why dont you look up the definition of "reform" and see that it is a nebulous buzzword that encompases everything from minor procedural changes to complete re-evaluation of the policy in question.
"reform" could eliminate all gun ownership, or eliminate all restrictions based on the decisions of the "reformers"
you may believe "reform" means "small changes to gun control/health insurance/whatever other bee is in your bonnet, in a manner with which you agree and approve" but it means something very different to those of us who have seen "reform" turn a small problem into a multi-billion dollar bureaucracy overnight
in the mid 90's california had "electrical utility regulation reform", check out how that turned out in the hands of the good democrats of the legislature.

Maybe you can't get this through your head. I have been arrested and held in a holding cell for smoking weed a few years back. It is a misdemeanor on my record. I obtained a license and now own a gun after that ordeal. You are only ineligible if you are a convicted felon.
Are you this stupid in real life or just choose to be on the internet?

as a lawful user of medical cannabis, and being not in any way addicted to any depressant i can lawfully and happily answer NO to that question.
as i have never use "Marijuana" in my life it would be impossible for me to be addicted to that dangerous and highly habit forming narcotic substance.
if ever forced to justify my answers on that form that will be my answer, as botanically scientifically and linguistically "marijuana" is a figment of the fertile imagination of [Harry J. Anslinger].

local po po took my guns for a cannabis related charge citing federal laws. I have a good lawyer who has as of yet to get them back. I wouldn't tell anyone if I was you. State laws vary and sometimes local leo does not enforce federal laws especially if you meet state requirements. I'm glad you were able to retain your right to bear arms.

In a perfect world no guns would be great. However we all know its far from perfect. If more people carried firearms then i bet most of these shootings would be stopped a lot quicker possibly with no deaths. Also shooters would probably think twice before killing.... It's a good feeling to know that you are a law abiding citizen and you can protect yourself and potentially save many lives with your firearm if needed. Carrying a firearm around with me doesn't make me feel like i am in the wild west, it just makes me feel that i am more secure. Most importantly though as stated, an armed nation is necessary to protect from tyranny.

if you are busted by the feds, then yes shit might get dicey, but under the new supreme court ruling local and state po-pos are prohibited from enforcing federal laws (lulz), one would asssume this includes prohibitions on intra-state cannabis possession and cultivation.
since my activities are lawful within my state, and i do not engage in inter-state commerce with my dope, therefore federal laws do not apply, even if they do insist that their fictional demon weed "marijuana" holds some nebulous connection to my innocent cannabis plants.
you were of course right it was harry ainslinger. he always looked like a robert to me though. or a richard. a fat mis-shapen sweaty pustulent oozing richard. a flaccid, impotent richard, dangling uselessly, unable to rise beyond the needs of urination.

-no, no one ever says this, or gives any warning signs-they just snap. All these people have a sickness in their heads-to go around murdering innocent people indiscriminately.....It's sick...AND IF SOMEONE IN THAT MOSQUE, THEATRE, OR WHEREVER , HAD A CONCEALED WEAPON PERMIT, AND A GUN, -LEGALLY-A LOT LESS PEOPLE WOULD LOSE THEIR LIVES!!!

My attorney disagrees with you. I'm a registered caregiver, and a gun owner.
My attorney is on my states MMJ board. He said "to the Feds you ARE engaging in drug trafficking and are a user of an illegal drug." Answering No on the form is a lie, go to a gun show or another private sale.
Now, I still have all my firearms including my AR15. They just stay in the gun safe with trigger locks and ammo in a smaller separate safe.
I agree with you, but my attorney is good, very good. When I told him I wouldn't get rid of firearms that was his suggestion. It at least shows an attempt to be responsible, and it's not like having a loaded gun just lying around
