You are right, they don't have the resources to hit everyone at once. They would do it in small waves in small towns. Enough to where people sort of get used to and accept it, look how they are doing it with the TSA. Then move into more and more places while at the same time, doing it at a small enough level that people think they are being protected. If they get enough people to believe they are being saved instead of harmed, they will demand this.

I totally agree, the only way they could do it is by sensationalizing every aspect of some bad thing that happened where guns were involved, things like calling protective padding "bulletproof body armor" when it wouldn't stop a BB gun.

that is what I figure as well, but if that is the case, then why do so many vote on this single issue? Except they don't know what you have, they would have to do it to EVERY SINGLE PERSON. I bet 100 million firearms in this country never even had paperwork EVER filed on them. They didn't do any of the checks until less than 20 years ago.

so if the government required you turn in "a Gun" for every piece of paperwork they could find about legal gun sales, then they would get like what? 25% of all the guns in the USA? Doesn't seem like disarmament if 75% of the guns are still out there, you just don't know where to look.

Obama will never take your guns. His administration has actually loosened gun laws. You now have the right to take a concealed weapon into a national park. Remember that UN small arms bill that was suppose to voted on last month? Did you know what happened to that? Obama and Putin killed it in UN. The reason Obama killed it is because the US is the biggest gun manufacturer in the world and there's not a chance in hell that Obama is going to screw with an industry that big and powerful. conjecture, in truth you don't know how many unregistered guns there are, it could be only a small fraction of all guns. In fact if what everyone says is true, that this is all about law abiding citizens then most of the guns will have records.
