You feel ok about paying for the drug addicts who are HIV positive and they are protected with lifetime health care dispite the fact that they don't work? I work hard and I have never gone to the ER in 40 years of life except when I was born. My biggest problem was an ear infection, needless to say, after dealing with the white-coats, I ordered the meds from Canada from now on and saved myself $200. $250 is 40 years... Why should I pay and forced to pay $400 per month of something I`ve never used?

There is no debtor's prison in the United States, we don't go to jail for owing money - not yet anyway. you must be thinking of some other country in some other century.

Correct, but it actually it doesn't quite work that way in the real world. A judgment against you ordering you to pay a fine, when not paid will result in imprisonment for failing to comply with the judgement.
In Michigan there pretty much is a debtors prison and you do go to jail for failing to pay fines. The ACLU has even taken the state to court over this issue.

Do you think other countries have exactly the same level of care that we do? If that is the case, then why do the rich and influential people of the world keep flying to the USA for medical treatments?

There are reasons it is cheaper in other parts of the world including rationing, long waiting lines, sub-par care, poorly trained doctors, etc. You get what you pay for.

The problem in this country is nobody directly pays for their healthcare so they dont give a shit what it costs...

We need torte reform and direct payments to doctors for routine things with catastrophic care insurance available at greatly reduced costs due to it actually being catastrophic and not a kitchen sink policy.

Obamacare is a forced redistribution of wealth from the middle class to the poor. The rich wont have to worry, congress has already gotten an exemption along with anybody who can afford lobbiests... The very people you hope get screwed are the people that stand to gain the most from this. You are now REQUIRED BY LAW to purchase healthcare insurance from a private company. Do you think that is going to make them richer or poorer?

Most people have insurance because they have a mortgage, which requires it.

Don't forget about ending lifetime limits and money caps for the people with insurance.. that is likely to drive the costs through the roof... I was an EMT for 3 years, if someone refuses care in sound mind, OR they have a 'Do not resuscitate' order, who makes them pay for medical insurance?
