To add to this, if you buy a house with a mortgage the bank actually owns the house until you pay off the mortgage. Therefore it isnt yours.
I guess the government is now saying that your body isnt yours and you must pay insurance on it...

Obama, if given a chance to declare his race, he would say he is black. This is acknowledging the fact that his father(African) was there to raise his child less than 0.1% of the time. His father was a drunk and an intelligent man who died at a young age, likely due to alcohol abuse.
His mother(Caucasian) and grandparents(Caucasian) were there to raise him 99% of the time and they were from a good and working class family. I believe Obama is not trying to represent the working and middle class who built this country, he wants to represent the top 1% and the bottom 20%, these people are unaffected by raising health care costs.

completely ignores the correlation between poverty and crime that exists in every race, and the centuries of unequal access to opportunity that has left a race with 3-4x the amount of poverty than the race that denied them the equal access for centuries.
seems to be more interested in blaming melanin rather than looking at the factors that correlate with crime.
but that's OK, because he ended with a racially charged rant about obama's parents.

Those stocks you speak of will buy some of the finest outhouse wallpaper in the next 10 years - granted, one step up from toilet paper. I have watched stocks raise and fall over the years and i think to myself, the baby boomers and their 401k is like a drunken night in Las Vegas.

the deficit has been more than cut in half, home prices are rebounding, unemployment is falling, and the stock market (and thus 401ks) are way, way up.
but who cares about the value of their home or retirement?

I went to McDonalds today and the prices went up 20% on some items. Got my insurance bill in the mail the other day and the same thing, 20% increase. Heard on the radio the other day that we are 1000 days into 3.00 plus dollar gasoline and should forget it ever going below that again.
And the fed keeps printing money and buying worthless paper with it to make the banks even richer.

You really can't compare infant mortality rates between different countries. The way they are determined differs so greatly from nation to nation that they're not comparable. Some don't count children under varying ages, some are just wild guesses by some government official who most likely has a vested interest. Some just ignore the deaths of children of the wrong gender, social class, or ethnicity.
