Ok here is the deal. I am on here all the time trying to find good grow info, pics, ect... on strains I am interested in. I often have a hard time getting the info I am looking for (not always) but often. I am growing 10 different strains from 8 different breeders and I am making this promise to all of you on here. I will make sure that you get all the info from this grow with pics. I can't promise the best pics but you will get all the info. So here is what I have so far.

The Strains:

5 fem Barney's Farm- Pineapple Chunk

5 fem Delicious Seeds- Northern Light Blue

5 fem G13 Labs- Blueberry Gum

5 fem G13 Labs- Midnight Kush

5 fem Dutch Passion- Frisian Dew

5 fem Royal Queen Seeds- Ice

2 fem Dinafem- Blue Hash (freebie seeds)

1 fem Dinafem- California Hashplant (freebie seed)

1 fem Kannabia- BCN Diesel (freebie seed)

1 fem Buddha Seeds- Red Dwarf Atuo (freebie seed)

1 fem Buddha Seeds- White Dwarf Auto (freebie seed)

1 fem Buddha Seeds- Deimos Auto (freebie seed)

1 fem Dinafem- Haze Auto (freebie seed)

1 fem Dinafem- Roadrunner Auto (freebie seed)

10 reg Short Stuff- Russian Rocket Fuel Autos...

I am going to be growing these in small plots of 5 to 7 plants. The Russian Rocket Fuel Autos are going to be sort of an early season project. I want to pollinate 1 or 2 females and save the seeds for later grows.

I chose the strains that I chose because they were mostly early finishers, and they were all touted as being mould resistant for my often wet fall seasons. I am growing for my wife because she deals with back pain and depression. I am hoping that I have a good variety for her to choose from this comming year. I have all of the seeds on my list except for the Russian Rocket Fuel, Frisian Dew, Ice, and the Buddha Seeds Auto freebies. They are already paid for and on the way. I placed my order with Attitude for them a day or two ago. I am hoping that I am going to be able to make a small box that will be big enough to start these plants soon so that they will be about 12 inches tall by June 1st when I plan on putting them outside. I have started preping my outdoor grow sites this past week.

I will post pics of all my seeds as soon as my last order comes in from the Tude.

The Attitude has been quite consistant with their orders (for me anyway) and they usually show up at my door in about 7 or 8 days. So I really expect these to be here sometime early next week or possibly as early as this Saturday but I kind of doubt they will get here quite that fast.

ok I went out on thursday of last week and started prepping an area where I will be planting 5 plants. today I went out and prepped another area for probably 10 to 15 more plants. I just dug holes and prepped spots to put 7gal root pots. There are some right-a-ways for power lines and other stuff that are out of the way and I know nobody is in there all summer long. The only problem is that these areas are covered with boulders and rocks so digging a hold with anything short of a backhoe is not even realistic... instead I just arranged some of the smaller rocks into small "planters" that I will place the 7gal rootpots into for a little extra camouflage. There are also some mountain laurel in these area's to add a little extra cover even if some of the plants don't finish untill after everything looses thier leaves. I will likely plant the Pineapple Chunk in these areas because I keep hearing that a lot of people are getting a more sativa dominant pheno and it takes longer to finish. I think mountain laurel sounds like good cover for late finishing plants.

well I was hoping that my order from Attitude was going to show up today but I honestly thought it was going to be a little too early yet. I guess I will have to wait till next week. It will likely show up on Tuesday.

ok i will try to get a pic on here later tonight. I am just really excited because I finally got my last order from Attitude. I normally get my orders from the Tude in like 7 or 8 days and this one didn't come that soon. I had to sweat this one out for a full 9 days, lol. I couldn't really be happier with Attitude. I know some people have had bad experiences with them but I have ordered from them 4 times now and each time i get my seeds in 9 days or less. Frisian Dew, Ice, Russian Rocket Fuel, and my freebees came today. So now I am ready to start popping my seeds. I am going to my workshop in the next hour to build a box for germinating my seeds and getting them started.

I don't have room really to grow my plants for a full 2 months before I put them out, so I have a friend that is going to take them off of my hands after i get them going. I has been laid up with a hip operation and hasn't been able to get his clones ready like he normally does for the outdoor season. He is going to take care of my plants for me for the month of may and get them ready to go outside June first. In return for helping me with my plants, and since I wanted to top my plants Uncle Ben style to get 4 main colas, I am going to let him top my plants and keep the cuttings for clones. If I am able to get all of my seeds to pop, he will be getting between 36 & 40 cuttings from me.

Well, I am off to start my box for germinating.

well here are all of my seeds for this summer's grow. like i said before the first pic is the Pineapple Chunk that was my first order from Attitude which i elected to have shipped out of the breeders packaging, along with all of my freebee autos and other strains that I will be growing. the second pic is the Ice & Northern Light Blue, the third pic is my Russian Rocket Fuel and Frisian Dew, and the last pic is the G13 Labs Blueberry Gum & Midnight Kush. I will start germinating my seeds this weekend except for the RRF. The Russian Rocket Fuel will not be getting started until i am ready to put them outside. If I started them now, They would be flowering by the time I want to put them outside.

Ok I just built my grow box to start my plants. It is about 28inches wide, 40 inches long, and about 30 inches tall. It is enough room to put 30 to 35 5" peat pots. I don't need to grow these plants out very big in the grow box. I only need to grow them to 6 or 8 inches tall. then after I have gotten them off to a good start, I can take them to my friends house and put them in bigger pots. Like I said before, my friend has bigger lights and way more room, plus he is going to be topping my plants before I put them out and taking the clones for himself in return for helping me get my plants ready tp put out June 1st. i will try to get some pics of the grow box on here later. it isn't very fancy. simple 2X4 & OSB construction. I am only going to be growing in this box for 3 or 4 weeks. I still need to paint it white inside alsoI may just line it with a nice white poster board. I am afraid the fumes from the paint would not be good for the plants.

Oh, I will be using a 2ft long, 8 blub, T5 High Output grow light to start my plants.

Well I finally got my seeds in the peat pellets. I have them in some peat pellets and some coco pellets. The peat pellets are the large ones that Jiffy makes for tomato plants and the coco pellets are the ones that Burpee sells. Last year IA had good luck with the coco pellets and this year I was curious how the tomato peat pellets would work. I have them in a 20" tray with a 7" vented dome on it. I have this sitting on an electric baseboard plug in heater. I am hoping that the dome and the heater will improve my germination rate. Most of the seeds look pretty good.

well I just checked on a few of my seeds and some of them have started to pop! I am excited! I didn't check on all of them, I just checked on 2 or 3 of them and at least 2 of the 3 I checked on had started to sprout. I believe one of them was one of the Northern Light Blue and one of them was a Frisian Dew.

well i had a 97% germination rate. everything popped except 1 of the freebie blue hash seeds. Not sure which one didn't pop, but one of the freebie blue hash seeds i got was really tiny and I wouldn't be suprised if it was the one that didn't germ. I am very impressed with the G13 strains... they were the first ones to pop (Midnight Kush & Blueberry Gum) and were the fastest growing seeds I ended up with. the Delicious Seeds Northern Light Blue was right behind the G13 strains. everything else popped too but ther G13's just really impressed me.

Ok, sorry I haven't got any pics posted yet... They will come but it may be later. I have been taking the pics just haven't posted any yet. Anyhow, I picked up some 1 gallon grow bags. Right now my plants are all in 5" peat pots. I moved them into those when they started shooting roots out the sides and bottom of the peat pellets. I will be moving them into the 1 gal grow bags at the end of the week. that is what they will stay in until I finally put them out in late May, early June. I got some 3.8cf bails of Pro Mix and I am going to be mixing some Fox Farms Happy Frog dry fertilizer. I got the Fruit & Flower blend. It says to apply it to the Ocean Forrest mix 1 tbsp per gallon, but since the Pro Mix has no nutes in it at all the guy at the hydro store said that it wouldn't be a bad idea to aply it 2 tbsp per gallon of potting mix. I also picked up a bottle of Dutch Master Reverse in case my fem seed plants decide to hermi on me later this summer. I hope I don't have to use the Reverse but I am glad I have it just in case.

I am growing outdoors, don't have the room or lighting to grow 30+ plants inside.

As far as Nirvana Seedbank goes, I am skeptical about ordering from them due to this statement that you can find on their website under the "terms & conditions" section: Nirvana cannot be held responsible for any packages lost by the postal service. We send our orders by first class mail. There is always a small risk of loss and you should be aware of this before ordering.
Nirvana will NOT accept any responsibility for anything that may happen to your order while in transit!

also I have looked at their website and they only have 1 strain that is advertized as mould resistant. this is something that i strongly look for. If I had room to grow inside, things might be a little different, but I also like Sannie's Shop strains.

As for the Blue Hash seeds... I don't think I would have a problem ordering from Dinafem, I am not a fan of the paper towel germination method. most breeders don't recommend this method either. I like to use the large peat pellets ment for tomato plants, in a tray, with a 7" vented dome on it, with a heating pad underneath set around 75 degrees. So far I have had much better ger rates this way than I ever had with the paper towel method. Like I said, i had 33 out of 34 seeds pop this last time and that is a 97% germination rate. in about 1 to 1.5 weeks I had taproots 7+ inches long and plants starting thier second set of true leaves.

I will try to update this grow journal as often as possible... glad to have you along for the ride.

well i stopped over and checked on my plants today. most of them are doing really well and I am totally happy. some of the freebie seeds aren't growing as fast as i would like, but they still look healthy, even if they are only half the size of some of the other strains. just a few more weeks and then I will probably start putting them out. the last week of may and first week of june are going to be really busy!

the potting mix i am using is Berger BM1... and I am adding Fox Farm Happy Frog Fruit & Flower 1 TBS per gallon of soil, plus I am adding about 1 tsp of blood meal per 3 gal of potting mix, and 1 tbs of water retaining crystals per gal of potting mix... the mix already has some perlite and vermiculite in it and since the smart pots will not be inground, i don't want to add more perlite cuz i don't want the mix to fast!

ok I just mixed up about 50 gallons of dirt. I used my 3.8cf bails and miced them with Happy Frog "Fruit & Flower" powdered fertilizer. I also threw in a few tablespoons of organic blood meal and some water holding crystals. The Happy Frog & water crystals were mixed in about 1 tablespoon per gallon of dirt. The blood meal was more like 1 teaspoon per gallon of dirt. I have 20, 7gal smart pots now that are filled about 3/4 of the way full and are now waiting for there plants to be put into them. Getting close to time to put plants out. I will probably start putting plants out in about 2 weeks... This is going to be a lot of work. sorry I haven't posted any pics yet. I am kind of waiting till the plants are out before I post any pics. I have pics, just haven't posted them yet.

I know everyone wants to see the pics of the grow before they really show much interest. Just remember that good things come to those who wait.
