    Red eyed genetics thread

I gotta say.. I'm not impressed with Red Eyed so far.. I opened my pack of Better Than Your Cookies to find 10 immature white/grey seeds.. I soaked 4 of them for 24 hours, moved to moist paper towel, and only 2 germinated.. The 2 that germinated are not vigorous at all (so far)- like was...

Tahoe OG x Stardawg SIP Coot Mix.

I've had some plants that keep drinking the same all the way to the end, and some that lighten up on the drinking last week or so. It's okay to take samples, that wont stress her out enough to worry.. Looking good!

    TGA By Others

Keep the seed packs in a sealed container like a Tupperware with some rice or desiccant, and store in the fridge.. this protects them from moisture, and temperature swings.. I like containers that are opaque and don't allow any light to pass through.. Seeds will last for decades this way, I...

    TGA By Others

Thanks! I only got 2 females out of my 5 pack.. The last pheno I grew (pictured below) was beautiful, but too much of a sativa framed monster for me to wanna really keep it in the stable - it stretched about triple - all the way into the 4th week of flower before it stopped. The plant had a...

    Calcium deficiency?

Who can really say for sure.. but to me, that looks like a toxicity of Potassium.. or at least that's what my plants looks like once, when I fed them too much potassium sulfate.. It also looks like it was momentary and your plant is starting to grow out of it.. Good luck!

    Soil PH

You most certainly SHOULD worry about PH of soil. Soils can be acidic or basic and if you don't have your soil PH in an acceptable range, plant growth will suffer. If you know your soil PH is in an acceptable zone, then no, you don't have to worry about the PH of water so much, as the soil...

Blumat Drip Irrigation with Super Soil?

Yes, I tried the boiling water trick.. I even went down to the store, grabbed a couple gallons of pure distilled water for the boiling and still had trouble with air in the carrot, but honestly, I think the air was coming in after the carrot was plugged into the soil and I probably didnt have...

Blumat Drip Irrigation with Super Soil?

I tried blumats in my organic soil and always had problems with runoffs.. Gave them a fair shot but couldn't ever stop air from getting in the carrot.. I read perlite and other types of aeration media touching the carrot could cause issues, so I tried packing the carrot holes with compost and...

    Fungas Gnats - bottom watering

I use a combination of watering properly, yellow sticky traps and rove beetles to control fungus gnats. The rove beetles stay away from the yellow stickies, never a problem with then getting stuck..

Who's Got The Fostiest Buds? Let's See How Frosty A Bud Can Really Get?

This is Barney's Farm Triple Cheese - this was a runt that didn't keep up, I was going to let her dry out and die in her 1 gallon but I ended up feeling sorry for her and transplanted to a 3 gallon pot and let her do her thing.. She kinda leafy, but very sticky and stinky.. smells like melon...

Who's Got The Fostiest Buds? Let's See How Frosty A Bud Can Really Get?

Thanks led1k! Oh yea, it's very tasty - loaded with terpenes. After a 3 week cure, I'm getting a pungent citrusy, fruity dank, an exotic taste that lasts throughout the whole joint. Very good flavor profile on the Critical HOG, I'd most definitely recommend this strain - easy to grow, very...
