Coots Mix Slight Adjustment For PH Neutral Peat Moss

Hello Guys! As I grow in Thailand I simply can't find Sphagnum Peat Moss, but did find another recipe that uses coco coir in it's place, I can though find ph neutral regular peat moss here so figured I'd go with that, and remove some of the calcium in place of Langbeinite.... However I also...

My Soil Mix is PH 6.2 Perfect... But no Calcium yet...

I've grown coco with salts and living soil, i'm using soil for this for cost as much as anything since I'm doing a pheno hunt, high numbers of plants in a small space; I know it's not ideal growing slightly different to how i will likely grow the keepers, i.e coco and salts but good enough for...

My Soil Mix is PH 6.2 Perfect... But no Calcium yet...

Thanks guys, i did end up adjusting a bit because surprisingly the PH dropped hours later, i guess from the organic processes. I waited 24 hours, added a bit of calcium sulfate and calcium carbonate, finishing up with 6.5 ph... just want a nice start and my tap water tends to run about 7, so...

My Soil Mix is PH 6.2 Perfect... But no Calcium yet...

Hey! So I made up a soil mix to start my seedlings. It's approximately... 40% Coco Coir 20 % Peat Moss 20 Percent Worm Castings 20 Percent Perlite I added in Seaweed Extract, a little Rock dust, and Trichoderma. The PH is now a perfect 6.2... so I'm wondering, should I perhaps add a...

Is there a way to 100% kill pests in large no-till living soil pots?

Kinda figured as much... such a shame though! I might take some of the worms, put them into a covid style detention center for 2 weeks before joining the new pots

Is there a way to 100% kill pests in large no-till living soil pots?

Hello! So a couple of grows ago i gave up on living soil and decided to try growing with salts. Partly because i was sick of a mite infestation. So the pots have been outside ever since with aloe vera on them, so no doubt they have new pests living in there now... However i'm tempted to bring...

Will lots of ice cool my room enough?

Just to follow up... My power was out from 10-3 only, I hired a generator and kept things going, but didn't have my ac. I managed to keep the room temp fairly ok (slowly crept up to 27 until my power came back). I just kept putting ice bags in front of a fan, and i had a swamp cooler. This was...

Will lots of ice cool my room enough?

Great idea but the grow room is 2nd floor, round the back of the house away from the car port! Metal ducting would be boiling by the time the air travelled around 30 meters or so lol. But that is a good idea if you could park next to the window!

Will lots of ice cool my room enough?

Will lots of ice cool my room enough?

I figure drying in the heat for the first day is worse than them being able to somewhat defend themself from it while living! Also i have scheduled my final finishing, fade and flush and that's too soon. Ok here's a pic from my phone but will take proper ones next week, as this strain tends to...

Will lots of ice cool my room enough?

I mean i can run it all day no problem tbh, not my issue... the temperature is :) The outside temp can hit 30 celcius, the led doesnt warm things up that much, especially as i'll dim it right down, and i can also power fans, and a water fan that i load with ice. Just thinking how i can lower the...

Will lots of ice cool my room enough?

I had debated this... 3 hours in the morning and about 3 in the afternoon when its back... its more the temps scaring me!

Will lots of ice cool my room enough?

On Tuesday there is a planned power cut... nothing i can do. My plants are going to be 4 days away from harvesting. I have found a 3500 w generator for rent, so that takes care of having a light running on low, a dehum if needed and some fans. However My ac unit is mainlined into my mains, so...

Impossible to Install Netafim Drippers Without Leakage?

To be fair, I'm not using the official netafim tool if they have one, i've tried 2 types of punch I could find, the size seems ok, a hole is a hole, its very tight when I insert them after and I do my best to push them in as far as they go, then pull back a little so the barb is backed up to...

Impossible to Install Netafim Drippers Without Leakage?

Is it impossible to install these little pcj drippers without them leaking? I've tried a few different punches, different sized tubes and even sealing with silicon but i get some leakage every time.
