  • Saw some nice pants of yours in the LST thread...what kind of soil/medium do you use ? and what do you use for nutes ? thanks :peace:
Love the way you've been growing been reading your. You've really inspired me to go CFL which i thought was not possible. Thanks for all the ... happy growing.. i m starting my own grow soon will need your help :)
Thanks for the picture man :) Im a hps man so i dont use cfls, just reading it because it was interesting. But for sidelighting im going to follow your advice :)
hey now that you have almost 600 wats runnin you should join the 600 club thread, great people and lots of info in theri
Just read your low wattage cfls vs high wattage cfls there and it was a cool read, just dropping in to tell you your old avatar (jesus giving thumbs up to the bud) is fucking hilarious man! If you could email that pic to me that would be awesome? My email is [email protected]. No biggie if you cant but i really want that pic as my screensaver haha. Peace man.
Hi, did you LST that clone you showed me? if so, wondering if you had any tips, i'm LST'ing some seedlings now but i'm not sure if i should prune as well. I've read some places that say to prune certain fan leaves to let the light reach the stem better where more colas can form, but i cant get clear instructions in the forums really. You look like you know what your doing so i was just wondering if you could explain it where I could understand. Thanks.

Exactly..kinda makes you hesitant to help anyone...with attitudes like that...good lookin' out !
Thanks Hookd for the info on the light schedule change. I thought it was a simple question and wouldn't involve scraping the whole grow. I appreciate your time and input. Usinwatts
Hi saw your post and your sign off and followed the grow link. Love the Duck tape.... I use it every where, except on dates. LOL You have a heat issue that is why you are curling.... the jug you are using is allowing the soil to get too hot from your lights or area. Get the thicker 5 or 3 gallon Nursery pots drill extra holes at bottom if not there already most come with about 5 holes around edges make 3 more for good drain. Moisture ruins a lot of stuff. The hotter soil may make a seedling go male because of the hotter or tougher conditions. The plant likes a soil or bed cooler then the outside or ambient temp. Just trying to help not criticize,
    Regards,
Ps I spray the outside white as it reflects light in the room and does not absorb light.
go to "my rollitup" then under "your control panel" theres an option for "edit options", click it and go to the part about private messages and enable them. you probably set it this way when you joined and never realized you could change things
hey hooked, love the name made me laugh when i first saw it

why cant i pm you? do you have it set that way or something?
The 2010 Outdoor Grow-off has been moved to, to accommodate new rule changes.(There's no longer a March 1st rule)

    The new thread is HERE.
It's not a problem, man. The good thing about organics is that you can do it alongside most nutes.(so long as you take into consideration that your double-feeding your plants, when you distribute it)

The main reason you dont want to dilute it much, is not only because your putting micro-organisms and all kinds of nitrates in the soil, but you want your plant to drink raw organics, because the risk of over-doing it is so low.

In my situation, I just happen to have a very cool friend that has a farm with horses, sheep, and a Llama. I make my own tea.

Stop on by my grow sometime. you can see the organics at work! Hahahah.

    The grow is HERE.

    Good luck, man!
    Hey, HookdOnChronics...

I wanted to follow up on somethin' with you.

If you remember THIS conversation... You finished by saying you may have to check out some organic as possible options for future grows, and that you had also said that you didnt want to go through the brewing and composting...

I wanted to tell ya' that THIS type of organic nutrients are pre-made, and are good for both vegetative and flowering organics. You may want to add some bat guano during flowering, for extra nitrogen.

    Food for thought, brah!bongsmilie
